About
Formally known as Del Norde Country Club and Cielo Vista Golf Course, this basic, flat course has long been known as the easiest course in El Paso. This short layout features wide-open fairways, large bent-grass greens, and minimal bunkering and water hazards. Yet there are a few spots where scores can add up, as many of the fairways dogleg, and more than a few approaches offer minimal views of the green because of the trees that have been added over the years.
In terms of notable holes, the signature is the 435-yard par 4 No. 2, tough because of its length and approach into a narrow, multi-level green. Be ready for No. 11, a 575-yard par 5 that features a long dogleg left with loads of trouble along that side. Big hitters might be able to cut the corner on this hole. No. 18 features a lake in the corner of the dogleg left that impacts both the tee shot and approach on this 380-yard hole.
Getting there : Adjacent to the El Paso Airport. From I-10 heading east, exit Hawkins and drive north. The course is on the right side of the street.

Lone Star
Course needs a lot of water. Fairway grass was almost dead. Greens were very dry and fast. Restaurant food and service were great.
1st round of year
We lucked out and booked the 2nd earliest tee time. Group in front of us were fast and they had one guy walking! Manny groups behind us but was a problem until 10th hole. That group must've started on the back or they skipped a hole. Kinda pushed us a bit but in all honesty, they were some old guys playing reds plus looked like they were picking up on the greens.
Fun Course
LS GC was fun to play. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We played as a double and moved along quite well throughout the round.
Excellent GC
My son and I had a great time on the course today. The staff and facilities are fantastic. The course was in good shape and the greens were well maintained. No issues aside from some slow play in a group ahead of us.
Need marshals
No pace of play control whatsoever. Players hitting into our group on par 3s. Only played 8 holes since the pace and course flow was so poor. Charging way too much to not have any course management.
This course was okay.
First time playing there was hoping for a better experience. But it was all stacked up, golf carts were basic and no bathrooms out in the course.
The course was nice with green grass and good greens. However, the staff was checking the ice chest and they took away 4 beers that I had in my ice chest. I did consume beers and more from their bar and they never returned my beers. They were easy to check the ice chest but not to return the beers. Staff overview was poor.
Super slow
Played at 1:10 pm on Saturday and play was extremely slooooowwwww. tere was a 6-some a couple of holes ahead of us! 6??? No marshals on the course and the beer cart only came by twice and had to pay 6 bucks for water- how about free water???
Great landscaping.
Four stars. Greens were good. Fairways were good. Good overall course condition.
No Rain Check!
The front staff member would not provide a rain check after it began raining on the course. The reason being “because I paid for the round online” and I needed “to book “directly with them.” So needless to say, I was out the money and he showed zero interest in helping solve the problem taking his sweet time on the computer and avoiding eye contact.
Fun course
Played with my brotherl I law and enjoyed the course. Great value
Water the grass
Coarse obviously has heavy traffic but fairways are dried out and don’t get enough water to grow the grass? Maybe need some fertilizer?
Not Happy
It was not a Marshall to take care of the groups playing. I could not finish my back nine because was to crowded. I also saw a forsome of young teenaggers just crusing arond all over the filed jumping from one hole to another and disturbing other players round.
The saddest thing is that it was the first time I took my wife with me to see the course and we couldn't finish, I had to leave from the 15th hole
