Killeen Castle Golf Club

It was closed for most of the morning due to frost, however once it reopened I got to play this fantastic course. Although wet in places the fairways and greens were in great shape. Some beautiful holes and great views of the castle. The staff in the pro shop were also extremely welcoming. I look forward to coming back in the spring/summer.

Excellent course excellent conditions greens were in superb condition for this time of year and fairways were the exact same. Was completely satisfied with my round and enjoy it thorowly

It's tough to give this a fair review because of the times we're in. I played here once before about 10 years ago. The experience between the two times was completely different. I love the course. The facilities you can't really judge because of the simple reason that nothing was open. It's a long walk and was gasping for some kind of beverage. No half way house was a stinger and made for a long round. If you play make sure your bag is fully stocked before going out. The course was in pretty good shape. The greens were quick and short putts were tricky. We were playing in wind that was about as bad as it gets. In was in to us almost the entire round. The bunkers are huge much deeper than they look until you're in them. A big challenge on the day we were there. Just like any course would play great if the game was on. Will definitely be back hopefully on a calmer day and when covid is finally behind us

Recently got a great offer through GolfNow, the course was in immaculate condition on a beautiful sunny day. Would recommend Killeen Castle to anybody especially if a hot deal appears.

I booked the course on Golf now and nowhere did it say that they had plugged and sanded the greens 7 days earlier. Not only were the greens in terrible shape so was the rest of the course, tee boxes, sand traps, etc... very disappointed.

This was my first time playing Killeen Castle and I will definatly be back. The course was chellenging but fair.

One of the best in Ireland, it is a stunning course that is very well appointed. Every hold packs a challenge, with numerous fairway bunkers ready to punish what could be a normally solid drive. Not overly hilly but there is some elevation change. Also not an excessive amount of water holes, but it does come into play on more than a few holes. My only complaint...it's too far away for me to consider joining!
