Amazing conditions and views
One of the best courses we played on the golf trip. We enjoyed the use of the hilly terrain, great views and immaculate course conditions. Easy to see why the pros play here.
signature holes
The lakes Ben Eoin in cape breton island. A very up to date course very well maintained excellent staff beautiful scenery on every hole # 6 hole is the signature hole, but every hole on the course is looking over the beautiful bra d'or lakes in cape breton island i highly recommend this course guaranteed you will fall in love with it brand new facility has just finished opened to play and stay .Thank you hope to see you hear next year have fun

Hidden gem
This course was a treat to play. The layout was challenging with many elevation changes and the views were amazing.

beautiful day on at the lakes but wish I had known that club championship was on would have going another day,,,, slow play and had to leave on 17th hole because of another commitment
Beautiful Views
Great course. A good challenge from the blues (double diamond at this course). Greens were in good shape, a little slow. Absolutely stunning views of the lakes, with hole 6 having an amazing tee shot. Fescue provided interesting shots of you happened to miss the fairway. Very friendly staff, good food. Will absolutely play again!

Excellent layout. Beautiful views.
Greens need to be speeded up. I would play it again and recommend to my friends.
For visitors, this would be an excellent course to put in a four course rota for Cape Breton Golf.
Play again
Overall good course. Very hilly terrain between holes but holes were undulating but fair. Good condition overall. Would recommend a cart due to the long hilly treks between holes, but a group behind us walked and were able to maintain pace of play. Best course around the Sydney area.
The Lakes
The course is in pretty good shape. There were a couple of soggy spots. The greens are still a little slow. I couldn't believe it was $8.00 for a sandwich. Good sandwich though.
Scenic views.
Undulated layout with very good views of the Bras d' Or Lake.
Challenging course with tricky stances but fun to play.
Nicely laid out course
Need to stay on the fairway as the rough is very rough. A little hilly so I would recommend a cart.

The course was in great shape and for the money, great value. More black flies then wanted on the back nine.
One of the best courses on the island.
I've played this course on several occasions and in my opinion it is one of the best courses in Cape Breton. The greens are are in mid season fourm while other courses greens are way behind. The course offers a variety of holes and differences in elevation.
Great staff and facilities. A little pricey when paying full fairs but there are plenty of deals out there if you keep searching.

This is a very nice course and considering the winter they had the fairways and green were in good shape. Reasonable pricing at the turn and very friendly at the halfway house. Pace of play was a little over four hours which made it enjoyable.

Awesome course.. Played it the first year it opened and went back 3 years later knowing that if it grew in, it would go to another level.. did not disappoint.
Tough course for the average golfer, really have to keep your ball in play and hit shots to avoid blow up holes.
Signature hole, hitting down from the top of the mountain to a very big landing area makes it enjoyable for all golfers because it gives you a chance to no matter what, enjoy watching your ball fly down the mountain.
