Beaver River Golf Club

I have been going to this course for years with a friend. I don’t golf anymore and go as a rider. They have never charged me to ride in the cart but today the old guy at the window decided he was going to charge me to ride and watch my friend golf. When I asked why and that I never get charged to ride here his response was “You must not have come here when I am here and I am not responsible for what other people do”. Then I asked how much and he said 20 bucks and my response was “Are you kidding me!” So this guy seriously wanted to charge me $20 to just sit in a cart and watch someone else golf, no f@@@ing way! They just lost our business!

I played Beaver River for first time since it first opened. I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions. The fairways are plush and the greens, although a little slow , were in great shape. I played from the white tees and its not a long course but has a lot of doglegs and driver is not needed on some holes. Pace the day we played was great, 3 1/2 hours for the 18 holes. Only small problem was the carts must have been left out all night as they were quite dusty and we had to wipe ours down, not a big problem. We teed of at 8am. Would definitely play again. Inside restaurant closed due to covid 19, but tables on patio open for food and beverage.

This course was in great condition. Well maintained and kept up very well. Very nice layout and some interesting holes. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and the service was excellent. Food was delicious and big portions. Highly recommend this course

Played this course yesterday with some buddies, had a great time. I like to enjoy a round on a course that the staff takes care of, the greens were rolling at a great pace, play was moving never ran into the group in front of us. rough was nice a short so play can keep moving unlike other courses in the area. will play this course again in the near future and will tell all my out of town guests to play this gem in southern rhode island!

As the owner of a new driver, I am presently 25 yards further into the woods than before. With that being said I love this course because I get to hit every club in my bag. The course is in incredible shape. I commented to the greens keeper last time because I don't think he can get enough praise for the shape the course is in. As much as I want everyone to go play this place, I love having it all to myself when I go. I understand the holes are tight and it requires more position golf than most places but I feel that helps make players better and I enjoy the challenge.

would play it every week.challenging love the different directions of the fairways.risk reward factor.1st -10th-18 hole beautifully laid out using the water.must see the 9th hole before teeing off,strange but very special.has made me a better player.
