Deer Valley Golf Club - Par-3 Course

Course had only 9 holes open. No indication on Golf Now web site or Deer Valley website that 9 holes were closed.

This place is the most beautiful course in Illinois. A lot of water, wide fairways and scenic views from every tee. A new favorite of mine. All the grass is incredibly maintained. I love it!

Womens tees are nothing more than short grass in the middle of the fairway. Many tees are not level and make it very difficult to consistently hit your driver because the ball is above or below your feet. Long grass is the primary hazard on this course. Allot of the long stuff that isn't part of the course design should be cut.

Only negative, Hole#9 doesn’t finish anywhere near the clubhouse.

Course is beautiful and played well. The layout was funky, though. The 9th didn't come back to the clubhouse so if you miss it at 5 you're SOL for the rest of the round. On that note there was no cart girl on the course at all which I found to be really strange.

Need SAND in the traps,it was like pea gravel. Course was in Great shape, we have had alot of rain and it was in great condition!

Played on a Sunday and we had a group with five players and another one with six ahead of us. Bad enough with them holding up everyone behind them but they also didn’t let anyone through. No marshals on the course.
