Family Sports Golf Course

About
The golf course at the Family Sports Golf Course (formerly known as Family Golf Center at Centennial Airport) is a nine-hole course with a links-style layout. The course is perfect for beginners and kids, therefore making it a perfect place for a golf outing for the entire family. Richard Phelps, an extremely popular course designer in Colorado, created the course. The course is 2,241 yards and plays to a par of 31. Although it is a short course it features several challenging elements for golfers to really learn the game or just practice their short game. The average-sized greens are fairly undulating and there are generous fairways. The Family Sports Golf Course also features water hazards that come into play on some holes. The signature hole is the par-5 fifth hole, which is not only one of the lengthier holes of the course, it also plays uphill.

Great practice 9 and facility
Hit balls there all the time and they have an awesome practice area for chipping and sand work. Great course to learn the game and improve, teaching my girlfriend how to play and she isn't overwhelmed. Great course for beginners or anyone working on their game.
Great Course For A Beginner
This is a great course for a beginner. Executive 9 hole course, it is 6 par 3, 2 par 4, and 1 par 5. You'll get to test every skill in the bag a little bit, but it is predominately par 3's.
Pros: Awesome practice facility, they have a huge driving range and what looked like a pretty impressive chipping/pitching area (was closed due to COVID pandemic). Course is extremely friendly for walking. There isn't anything too challenging on the course, but it isn't a proverbial walk in the park either. Greens are in great shape.
Cons: course was jam packed and pace of play was an issue. This course has a lot of par 3 holes in a row, so as soon as the course fills up it can get a bit log jammed. My only other complaint was that there are a lot of practice balls from the driving range that make their way onto the first hole fairway and rough. Makes it a bit tough to find your ball at times but not an issue on any of the other holes. Bright side is you can practice pitching some balls back into the range while other people in your group are hitting their shot or finishing up the hole.
Overall, a fun, friendly course. The last hole is a nice long par 3 and a challenge. Great for practicing a club like a hybrid off the tee and a wonderful feeling to stick that green! Will play again.
Great skills development course.
Play often, great price for the course you get to play. Nicely kept greens. Great after work or at lunch.
75 minute golf
a quick nine holes during lunch. no one else on the course as it was a cool, breezy day. Greens in good shape, fairways coming around after winter and cool spring.
The course was great and fun to pla. However, since there are a lot of par 3 holes there are a lot of divits in the greens that are not fixed. This caused a lot of missed putts.
Hidden Gem
A Hidden Gem just of Arapahoe Rd. This facility has an amazing practice area and course and golf 9-hole course. Do not be fooled, this course offers both fun and challenges. For the beginner the tees are well placed and for the more avid golfer the back tees offer some challenges. So, a great experience for any level and families.
The double decker driving range and practice facility was a pleasant surprise so, get there early and have some fun.
Good little course
Fun place to take the kids or for beginners. Been here a long time. Good value for the money.
Great shape for early season!
Staff is always great, played with a GolfNow hot deal. Fun little course for a quick nine.
Easy and convenient option.
Great place to play if you decide last minute, prefer to walk, and want to work on your iron play. Staff is very accommodating.
This is a little gem
The practice facility is great & staff is super supportive... Can't wait for the grass tee range to open..
Great Little Track
This is a great course for a nine hole track. Even in the winter the course is well-maintained and in good condition. The staff is second to none and very accommodating. Bonus if you like planes, this course is on a final approach to one of the country’s busiest private airports. John Elway may be flying right over your head!
good course to practice on
Enjoyed the course but the pace was extremely slow. They were running 10 minutes late before we even begun and we had to wait a bit before each hole.
