Ball eating monster trees!
Had a great time on this course! The main obstacles on each hole were far reaching trees that seem strategically placed to prevent an open shot. Greens were acceptable, fairways were well trimmed but a little winter time dry.
Very narrow fairways, trees on each side mostly. Good bang for the buck.
Great Course
I was the first one out that morning and had the place to myself, made the turn in 65 minutes. I very much enjoyed the course and if I lived closer I’d definitely play it more often.
Fun day
Great course with mild challenges. Just wish I lived closer to play more often.
Pleasanton Country Club
Nice course. Greens a bit fast and a few could use a little work.
Good Course for the Price
Pleasanton is a solid course that is worth the drive outside of San Antonio for the price.
Just OK
Course is in great condition but the carts are ancient, there are several leaking irrigation heads that have been leaking a long time, and cart paths are in need of repair (hole 10 and 11 are the worst.)
Fun Course
This is a fun course to play. Some really challenging holes. The mature live oaks can devastate an otherwise wonderful shot.
The people you meet are friendly and welcoming.
The young lady at the desk was super nice, super friendly. I had booked my play for the day before work, that she worked with me and let me play that day.
It's an hour drive for me but I'll do it because it's a good day of golf.
Lots of trees - trim the trees!
Course is In good condition and the staff is friendly but tee box’s are not level and greens have several different varieties of grass.
Alright
Alright for the price but it they fixed cart paths and leveled the tee boxes it would be great.
Worth the trip
I lioe NE of San Antonio. It was a 45 minute drive to Pleasanton and well worth it. My main complaint is that some greens need repair. Even so, I definitely would make the drive again!
Nice course but really tight.
The course was in great condition. Fair ways plush and green with minimal dear areas.
The greens were all great with no dead. areas.
Just so tight. These are tree boxes tha aim across fairways. Thare greens close to each other so it wasn't clear which green I was supposed to play. Next time I will know.
The lady in the club house was very friendly.
Locals help with course directions.
Unfriendly Staff
Course is very good for beginner golfers as the course has a fairly easy layout. The pro shop worker that checked me in was rude and not helpful. He went to get me a cart and it was filled with empty beer cans.
