Shame the Course is Closing 1st Oct 2019
After finishing my round today, went to the bar to be with my playing partner only to be informed the course is closing from tomorrow
What a shame
Good golf course
Good value for money, shame clubhouse not great, and main thing the upkeep of the course most definitely could be a whole lot better
Tricky
Enjoyed visit today . Have played here a few times but not for last year or two. Still recovering from last summers drought but still played fairly well. Work to nearly all bunkers on going but those that look finished look great. Greens were always fair and quite quick.
Very tricky opening few holes . Dog leg first , very tight dog leg third and then the strange very tight par 5 fifth. After that the course becomes a little more open and enjoyable. Very few other golfers playing when we played. Didn’t use the clubhouse other than to check in. Would play again. Very good value for money.
Interesting course
Played many times here and course improving with bunker works in progress
Also a lot of work clearing out the rough to improve pace of play
An interesting course that requires thought off the tee as some very tight driving holes.
Greens in very good condition running true
Well worth a visit
Enjoyable
Had lovely round joined up with another golfer for first nine and it was fun
Slow play And tee off times
Hi
My tee off time was 12 35. At tee 12 32 and there was two men in front of me and they said 3 men in front off them and are very slow . Ask them what was their tee time and they said 12 44. They never said you go ahead even though my tee time was before me
Think there is a problem with letting people out so close and you must know who who went out in front of me. Should be spoken too.
As that not good golfing behaviour

Bushey Hall review
This course like so many has the scars of last summer on the fairways but over all it was a 7.5/10 for condition given the time of year. Bunkers could use some sand and the greens were a bit slow but we would happily go back and play again. Good value also at £16 and I am told they have a very cheap 6 months membership.
Windy day at Bushy Hall
Greens and tees in good condition considering weather, easy enough track to walk and rewarded for good shots.....unfortunately didn’t make many of them!
Enjoyable round
Excellent value round - course is in good condition and reasonably challenging. No hold-ups on course so good pace, but the bar is pretty soulless.
A hilly course
A hilly course with several interesting holes! The tee boxes and greens could have been better maintained!
Great value for money
Great value for money. Course in good condition. Greens a bit slow. Pace of play surprisingly quite fast.
Good value and decent course
First time I’ve played it. Pleasantly surprised and would deffo play it again. A challenge because of bunker positioning and some tight drives. Worst part is bunkers, which are terrible and full of stones. However, t-beds are good, as are greens.
Clubhouse is traditional and it’s £4.25 for a shandy. Two Sky sports TVs with full package, so good for viewing.
Enjoyment
I had a good round as conditions start to change joy of golf it’s different every time you play
Slow play last two visits
Hi
Have played 5 times now at Bushey , first 3 rounds Brillant no slow play last Friday & Tuesday gone Ethics of golf seem to be lost on some players.
Think it is something that needs to be said again and again to players , to let people play through .etc etc
Course
More enjoyable 2nd time as getting to know the course
lack of marking s on course
Hi
Course was lovely , tricky but fair , green nice .
Only complaint I have is lack of marking “Next Tee “ Also when teeing off and you can not see flag , good idea if they put black &white pole so as you had some idea , where too tee off to .
Quite a few of the holes criss cross .
Overall I enjoyed it .
