Condition of the course want the best but was definitely not the worse out there.
It was our first time on the course and the was not many signs giving you a steer to the next hole. I did think the score card might have shown the layout but it didn’t. We ended up downloading an app another golfer recommended.

Staff were very friendly and the cost wasn’t to bad either. I would go again but hopefully they give the place a little trim before I return.

Unkept course, lose balls on the fairway, terrible greens, tee boxes just a patch of mud.
Groups jumping on whatever holes they like in front of you
Could be a great little course but it would seem it’s been given up on

Was a carry club only course
Fairways boggy and uncut so lost many balls on the fairway.
Poorly signposted for course direction
Certainly not worth the money paid

Was looking forward to playing here as I haven’t done so in a while. Absolutely gutted with the condition of the corse. The Tee box’s are like playing off of a field. The greens are all chewed up with holes in it. The course is overbooked and had to wait in a que to tee off even though we was on time with our tee time.

Really disappointed in the course and I would not recommend it at all.

Defiantly not worth £32 for a 12:57 tee off.

Played this course a lot years ago. Still like it. Some good holes. It's not long but has some challenging holes. Don't think the course condition is what it used to be. Fairways were good enough, but the bunkers need attention. The greens could do with some attention too. I would play it again though.

Booked night before, tee’d off at 8.25am finished at 11.40, which included a refreshment break at the clubhouse conveniently placed between the 9th and 10th. Course was better than last played despite the dry weather and greens seemed better looked after. Bunkers still need attention but overall not bad value for money. This is a course for mid to high handicappers, Very short but some holes can pose a challenge. Layout is good however and not boring.

Since the course was taken over by Mytime Active the quality has dropped significantly. The course always seems to be in a state of significant repair. Long grass, awful bunkers, boggy ground, and the winter mats are quite simply embarrassing. The pro shop has been completely closed and now there are just small accessories for sale at the bar. There is no proper management when it comes to tee times as it seems people just turn up whenever and clog up the first few holes. A round costs just under £25 and is barely worth half that. I have been playing here regularly for 15 years and unfortunately won't be returning after the latest experience.

Quite simply, they keep double booking tee times and causing huge delays to the course. 4 and a half hours for a round is terrible! No course marshalls out to speed people up and no way to contact the desk except call mytime and wait in a queue for over an hour.

Cobtree is a lovely golfcourse with excellent greens all year around! The layout has some challenging par 4's and getable par 3's. It only has one par five that is protected by a ditch running across the full width of the green. It requires well placed drives to take advantage of the shorter course. It is a nice course to walk.
