Lovely views and enjoyable to play
Really surprised with the quality of the course...wonderful, and matched with the views this was a really enjoyable 9 hole course. If you are progressing with your game but don’t want to be intimidated with a full 18 holes, it’s a perfect course. A bit of water, a few bunkers and some sloping lies, overall a great experience.

Really good 9 hole course
I wanted to play 9 holes in the evening and we played the 9 hole at Cottesmore. The course was in good condition. Not the longest course but a good test
Poor
The holes are short. We got stuck behind a 4 ball who were so slow but wouldn't let us through even though we were waiting for them to tee off on the 1st second time around. After they did tee off another 2 ball jumped in front of us to start their round even though we were half way through ours, in the pro shop they said there should be a Marshall but he was on the other course. We came off after nine holes very disappointed,
If you are a beginner it's a good course to start off playing but it isn't really challenging, I hit irons of every tee and had a wedge in second shot.
