Once again, beautifully managed, the greens & fairways were great.
The staff were their usual helpful selves.
Only downside is the walk from the clubhouse, but there is nothing that can be done about that!
(It’s not so bad if you’ve had a good round!) 😂

It’s a very nice course with long open fairways in good condition with very fast greens. It was our first time playing the course and we found the layout a bit confusing. You play the 1st then literally walk all the way back to the 2nd tee. By the 2nd green is the 16th tee and we set up on this before realising it wasn’t the 3rd which was some distance away. A map of the course would have been of great help. All that said we would play there again and I would recommend it.

Course is in good condition and the greens were excellent, pity I shanked it most of the day and lost half a dozen balls. But that's my fault for being a crappy golfer 😭

Had a pleasure to play this beautiful course at only £24 per round great value and course in immaculate condition Fantastic greeting on arrival in the pro shop and a amazing golf shop with fantastic stock also had a drink in the bar afterwards where the members made us feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly this is a hidden gem of a course I never for once thought I was in the middle of a racecourse try it you won’t be dissapointed.

Fantastic course, really enjoyed it. Greens in very good condition, really quick and rolled well! One had been hit by the rain abit but can’t be helped with typical English weather. Really enjoyed it!

Got to course went in shop not friendly at all one of lads got a drink got card out had a go at him for not paying cash I went in asked for toilet asked if I had golf shoes on yes I’m at a golf course one of other lads goes in and asked him to go home and change his top as didn’t have a collar on his golf shirt as we’re from Sheffield it’s a bit to far away not a great start to a days golf that’s all the bad done golf course in great condition great tee boxes great fairways and fantastic greens great course inside a race course I couldn’t believe how good it was back at club house went for a drink was made welcome by the bar staff and other members just the start in shop spoilt a good day but overall a great golf course

The quality of this course is amazing even though only 16 holes were open the guy in the shop said if it's quiet enough when we finish we could replay 2 holes so we could fill the score card, excellent value for money using golf now and played my best game so far as I'm still very new to the sport

First time playing this course, very slow play, stuck behind numerous slow playing groups that wouldn’t allow quicker players through. Fairways and greens are ok, but the course layout is ridiculous. Numerous tees cross over, close proximity to greens when teeing off which doesn’t allow for any mishaps and did witness few near misses. Won’t be back, certainly not worthy of the £32 fee, on par with £15 courses. Disappointed.

Very disappointed as the pro gave no indication that there were 5 holes closed not a Hot Deal under these circumstances

Having been a member of this course over 10 years ago I was keen to return and considering rejoining. However, the course is exhausted, it looks worn out due to being over played. It used to be tight with lots of trees, bushes, gorse and sadly everything has been cut down and it no longer has any character. Such a shame. I paid for 18 holes but only played 9 holes due to pace of play. However I think there were only 11 holes open which was not highlighted on the booking like others courses do else I would not have booked. Things certainly have gone downhill at this course.

Well it was my first time playing this course even though it is 5 minutes from home, a course I had passed many times without even considering it, how wrong was I to do this.
Out of the 5 courses I have played through December this was the driest of them all with only one temporary flags which was rather surprising, others had 5 - 8 temp flags with one course cutting par 5’s down to 89 yard par 3’a, won’t mention which ones though.
The course played very well with good greens though they will be much better in the dryer months. Nice and flat course overall which suited my age and body condition better than most around the South Yorkshire area. Pricing is very good and plenty of knowledge in the Clubhouse with friendly staff.
A very positive experience though and a course I will! be returning too regularly..
Only slight moan would be the need for clear signage on each winter tee as a few were unclear but the regular players on course were very helpful.
Fantastic place to visit though.

First time playing here. Really enjoyed it. No tight fairways, greens in great condition and fairly flat so no big hills.
As a first timer, I would only suggest signage for the second hole that wasn’t clear.
But a great course and will be returning!
