Filton Golf Club

An interesting course in good condition. The greens were good. On some of the holes one had to shape your shot. Not a difficult course. We had a buggy but could have walked it.

Course was a good average but no real tester holes and a little bit samey up down up down

Bland course. No stand out holes. Better courses out there for the price.

Friendly and helpful welcome in pro shop which is going through a refurb. Course in fair condition considering the time of year but lacks signs and we were often left puzzled. Probably the strangest thing was the amount of local office workers walking freely through the course, often across our fairway?! Quite a hilly course which isn’t a complaint as we were expecting this but for the more senior golfer this might be a challenge. Will be back .

Didn’t know this course existed. Considering the time of year the course was in superb condition. Greens although slow were true, as expected for the time of year.

Club pro was very helpful, as were the members. The club house was clean with great views and the members were extremely friendly.

Good course, good condition, one temporary green bit ptherwise a veyenjoyable and challenging round.

Nice course, good clubhouse and friendly staff but overall experience spoilt by numerous dogs being allowed to run free and various joggers, walkers and dog walkers wandering across the fairways and around the greens oblivious to play.

Apparently there are various rights of way which are being abused.

Tees, fairways and greens all in very good condition, well paced round and not overly busy for a Wednesday lunchtime start . Will play again and can recommend the course especially with a cost of £15 per head.

I have played Filton many times and it rarely disappoints. The holes are varied, with a few crackers (the drop hole 3rd and long par 5 14th being 2 favourites). £16 is excellent value for a course which is normally in good nick. This time the wet weather meant the greens were slower than usual, but they were still flat and fair. We were a four ball setting off at 10.30am and apart from letting a 2ball through, we didn't encounter any other groups. We had a nice beer (Doom Bar) and burger in the friendly club house after.

Good course, good condition and great value for £14 a round. The only negative is that we had to wait quite a while between some holes as it was very busy. After chatting to some other players who are members, they said it was a common problem. Apparently one reason for this is that the pro shop and tee times app both book tees without possibly communication. All in all tho, good course and great value.

This is a great course and is playing really well. The course is in excellent condition. Staff are always helpful and it's very well run. No hold ups. Always enjoy playing here.

Grass probably needed cutting everywhere, but greens were true. Overall, course has matured well since last time I played it.

We played here on a nice Summer evening. Teed off at 5.40pm. Very busy on the course. Pace of play was acceptable. Greens were good. The bunkers were more like grit and in urgent need of some sand. Real shame as the rest of the course was in good condition. Still very good value for money and a good challenge for any golfer!

A lovely golf course can't wait to play it next week hope I do better

only one thing i don't like is have some teenager play around the golf course,throw some object on the green
