Pity about the public!!
Feel sorry for the Club. Not long reopened and the first few greens were a bit of a mess as obviously members of the public decided to desecrate them over lockdown.
The public today are all candidates for The Darwin Awards! I know there are public rights of way on this course but this was bizarre. People sunning it in the middle of fairways, under trees on the fairway, on and around greens hidden behind blind hills it was quite unbelievable how many people didn't seem to care that this is a golf course! You had to actually ask people to move to play a shot at times and as you lined up someone with a dog would just appear and walk across your shot line and it really felt like as a golfer it was you intruding on peoples right to sun bathe!! Hope the Club can get this back under control as things move forward because it was a bizarre and frustrating experience.
Varied and interesting layout, great views
Great course, needs some TLC on the
bunkers & the club house is lacking
style and comfort..
But great value for money and good
greens.

Course made challenging by length of rough! partner lost 10 balls, I lost 2.
greens were excellent condition.. bunkers not raked but probably due to many dog walkers who seemed to think they had priority over the use of the land.
Course in poor condition .Greens awful. Bunkers absolute disgrace and were more like childrens sand pits. Dog walkers all over the course
Great views
Good pace. Fantastic weather. Challenging but nice wide fairways. A brat 4 hours fun
Shame about the Greens.
Very friendly club some testing undulating holes with quite a few blind shots. Course layout very good, just a shame that the Greens had weeds and we're very bobbly but this did not spoil our round.
What happened to this place
This course is in a dreadful state of repair. Letters hanging off the clubhouse, tee boxes missing, greens awful, bunkers a disgrace. This course desperately needs an injection of pride. Hang your heads my time this was once a decent track. Course was empty unsurprisingly and £23 for this course at present is a joke. There are far better courses around for that sort of money.
