Iver golf course
I know it’s just a little 9 hole course that is £12-£18 so play… I still won’t be going back and won’t be recommending it… your better off spending an extra £10-£20 and play somewhere else… not enjoyable, layouts awful and just not looked after at all.
Our first visit
Fairways fine but greens in especially poor shape, as is obviously understood by caretaker.
Major work on pylons meant major change to arrangements and it was asking a lot of us to look at a rough map and remember the special arrangements. We learned on arrival we could have played just the 9 holes we would have preferred, so feel that was not evident from the website, and mixed and matched the holes which were available to end up probably playing just 9 holes.
This course is in shocking condition
Complete waste of money I can’t believe they are charging £18 for 9 hole when the greens are un playable huge lumps of mud dotted all over them and moss growing in big patches. Tees and fairways aren’t to bad for the time of year but the greens are shocking. Definitely won’t be coming back at that price!
Great find!!!
Lovely little course using different tees for back nine, great condition with really good greens!
Doesn’t deserve some bad reviews or maybe has improved since! Shame about pylons on first fairway but easy to navigate course, just follow paths or map on card!
Shall return on a regular basis…
Poor condition
The main issues with this course were the course conditions, particularly the greens. Genuinely were the worst greens I have ever played on.
There is no signage to direct you to the next hole, and as the layout isn’t the best, we found ourselves wandering aimlessly at times to locate the next tee box.
Huge pylons on the first fairway were both eyesores and far from
Ideal playing conditions.
Wouldn’t play there again, even for free.
Value for money
Great little course, hard to find but once you come off the main road, follow that road until you get to a dead end and it’s on the right.
You can never go wrong with 9 holes for £15 and this was a great find for the value. It’s a course which can appeal to any level of player and it’s brilliant for anyone trying to improve their overall game.
Really well maintained, even after the scorching weather we’ve had, the greens remained smooth.
Fully recommend and will be coming back soon
Not a bad little course
Very basic club with a small driving range. The course has some interesting holes and not surprisingly not in the best of condition given the time of year,
The guy in the pro shop was very helpful

Great service from reception whilst phoning ahead to advise of delay . Nice open car park with plenty room . Lovely clean club house with great selection of drinks and great outdoor seating too! Was advised to follow map of course by reception staff. Played 9 and throughly enjoyed the round . Greens were well watered and due to the tinder box dry conditions, they were unusually more visible, as from Tee box to green was one shade of straw. Fairways had merged with rough . this is not due to care and maintenance this is weather related . Slight confusion when finding 2nd hole and 7th hole but map reference helped . This is a small course excellent for beginners , intermediates with some nice shots to be played . Best wishes .
It’s a no from me
Course is in dire need of attention and maintenance, would recommend for winter times or new to golf
First time here...really enjoyed the course, will definitely be back.
Still somewhat new to golf, have only been playing about 4 months. This was a nice step up from the usual Par 3 courses I've been playing, at around double the distance for the 9 holes we played. A nice mix of Par 3's from 143-180yds, Par 4's from 285-370yds, and Par 5's from 441-454yds.
There are a good number of tee positions to try, and it was great that the tees were all grass, not those mats which can often be difficult to get your tee in, especially for a back pain sufferer such as myself. Fairways were in good condition, mildly undulating, with occasional drainage ditches to negotiate, something I wasn't always good at today! Greens were reasonably well kept, with some minor slopes and undulations adding to the putting challenge.
A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours spent golfing around the picturesque course in glorious February sunshine, followed by hot drinks in the pleasant indoor and outdoor areas, where we were served and made welcome by the delightful Sam.
The only negative I have is regarding some littering on the course, but that's more about the people playing than those managing and maintaining the course. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME WITH YOU PEOPLE - IT'S REALLY NOT THAT DIFFICULT!
All in all a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience today, and fantastic value for money. Don't believe all the negative reviews on here...I honestly have no idea what these people were expecting, but I certainly was not disappointed. In the words of The Terminator..."I'll be back!". And soon, very soon.

Need a alot of work
Need alot of work to be anywhere near a tidy playable golf course , greens were full of moss and no love given to them fairways look like they haven't been cut for about 6 months more like ruff all the way around the course ,
A long way to go before it catches up with golf courses around the corner like richings Park
No worth the money you pay to play
