So much potential
Haven't played there for some time but was invited by a friend so went along. Has grown up greatly with trees now lining most fairways, some challenging holes leading you to think your way round. Unfortunately poor maintenance and lack of real vision hold this course back... crusty fairways and poorly kept greens are a real issue here. The location of the course and local unsocial behaviours will always hold this centre back so really strange why they closed the back nine of the course away from the trouble, leaving in particular 5,6 and 7 exposed to criminal activity. Really feel with some investment and people who are passionate about this course and it could be so much more.
Poor maintenance of course
Last year course was a pleasure to play but this year it has been awful. Greens unkempt, local youths allowed to ride motorbikes all over the course, fairways bumpy and patchy.

Great value
Fist time playing the course. Impressed with the layout and condition. Some very nice holes and great value for money as i only paid £13 for 18 holes. The only down side was a group of local youths who were continuously riding a scooter around the course. It was a real shame. Will play there again but if the

Kids on mopeds
Kids on mopeds driving round stealing flags and tearing up greens. Quite threatening, dont bother. Paid £10 to play so guess you can accept that.

pace was very good if I caught up with other people they let me through Green doing very good condition will definitely play again

Great Condition
Course in great condition, credit to the Greenkeepers and Staff. Worth playing if you haven't before as some tricky holes.

Not in good shape
Tees were ridiculous , most of them were like teeing off a side hill lie , most of the greens were second rate , if they were not temps , which were terrible , overall 25 pound a round not worth half of that
Not bad for a public course
It was nice for a public course but unfortunately there's been some malicious activity on some of the holes (especially hole 6 fairway) so that was disappointing. When the winter tees were used they were in good condition compared to other courses but had a couple of temporary greens. Will play again in the spring time.
Decent course but slow
I play here quite regularly. For the time of year the course is in really condition. It's just the other golfers that are a problem.
Today a 3 ball in front of us took an eternity to play and didn't allow us to play through. The group behind us, wearing jeans and tracksuits, obviously lost patience and started hitting shots into us as we were taking our shots. It was all a bit ridiculous.
