Staff, green staff and bar staff very friendly. Always have a smile. Course has been worked in and is very good value for the money
Winter golf
Paid £16 for 14 holes, cracking views, good course layout can’t go wrong
Worst course I have ever played
This place is horrific the greens and tees are a disgrace and is nothing short of a complete waste of money, £25 and honestly you can barely find a putt line without divots or bald patches on the greens, I have seen council run course in better nick than this place, if anyone scores this above a 1* I would be amazed.

Nice course
Course was in decent condition considering the lack of rain. Some tees are off mats due to the relaying of teeing areas. Greens did not roll too bad but they are in need of rain as there are a lot of slits still in the greens from the March maintenance. There are some really good holes on this course. If you've not played it,it is very hilly.
Very poor course
Will never ever step foot on this course again. Besides the weather being beautiful and cracking the flags there were 5 holes closed which they never said at time of booking. Greens were unputtable due to tracks and divots across every green, fairways haven’t been cut for a long time and the leftovers from the last cut of all the moss was left around the edge of the greens. Very very poor course, guy behind bar who you have to see as there is no pro shop is abrupt and unhelpful aswell
Wanting to play a round of 18 but after not knowing prior there was only 13 holes open. The greens where in a poor state making putting alot more difficult with deep ariation groves in every green rather then the holes and sand topping.
Dissapointed as usually these greens are nice to play off. The course is still beautiful throughout and well kept.
Book directly with golf course it’s cheaper!
I booked using golf now app which did not inform me that 4 holes on the golf course were closed and yet I paid the price for 18 holes of golf. Not happy. Best thing to do is use the app for the research and then book direct with the golf club.
The course is a bit soggy and showing signs of heavy traffic in places. 4 of the greens have been trashed by kids riding bikes across them, no doubt it will take at least 6 months to repair the damage. The pro shop is next to non existent and the reception doubles up as bar and cafe.
I won’t return in a hurry
Good Condition
Played in a 4 ball at 6.16am. Course was in great condition, fairways and greens. Staff friendly at the 19th hole.
Six holes closed 2 temp short holes - no real fault of the staff except lack of investment by owners/ management
great views
Working in the area so booked this course as it was the nearest to me. The course has some challenging holes and cracking views from some of the tee boxes, talking of tee boxes they where very shabby some with no grass at all the greens where also in poor condition.
felt more like a pay and play course.
Other players on the course in jeans and none golfing clothing. Also on one of the fairways we came across two cyclists riding down the middle of the fairway and across the green, not what you want on a golf course.
All in all a ok course if your in the area for a cheep round of golf. Like the old saying you get what you pay for.

The course was in great condition considering how the weather has been. Will be back soon to play again
Good golfing challenge
The course provided a very good challenge to a mixed handicap group of golfers. We had a great time and will return in the near future
