Always someone watering the greens
I play at cove a lot, and every time I play there is someone smack in the middle of the green watering with the hose right across the middle. And it’s not the fact that he’s watering its the fact that his hose always blocks the ball in some way. And has the gull to tell me to yell four when I’m hitting the green on my tee shot. Otherwise the staff is very friendly

Challenging Executive Course
Had a very enjoyable afternoon playing the Cove Links course. For a smaller course, lots of opportunities to get into trouble with errant shots. Greens were in very good condition. Staff were very friendly and welcoming to us as newcomers. Definitely worth trying out and will be sure to head back for future rounds.
Short Game
Good distance par 3's from the black tees. A few well placed trees to contend with, lots of water but none really comes into play. Big greens in good shape, some with lots of elevation changes.
Great
First timers on executive course a challenge but enjoyable
The Hidden Gem in the Lower Mainland
The greens were as good or better than any $60.00 green fee course. This is a great course to play for value, challenging your game from the different tees and just for an enjoyable walk in a serene environment.
The clubhouse is new and the food is good for a Café type service --
First time at Cove Links
Nice course amongst a beautiful residential area but is challenging as Water and bunkers on every hole.
Great course to sharpen your short game
There was construction ongoing at the facilities so my wife and I got the use of a couple of beat up pull carts. Didn't see any three wheel carts so bring your own if you prefer them over a two wheeler. Sand traps were in very good condition. Pace of play was excellent as we finished 18 holes in under 3 hours; backup only at a couple of holes. The greens were of ample size so they offered good targets from the tee, they were in good shape, and they were interesting due to their slope and contour. Water in play on all holes. Ball marks and raking of traps could use more attention; not sure if these issues are due to the junior (beginner) golfers playing there. Had a nice chat with the golf pro prior to him sending us off and during that time noticed that the course accommodates junior golfers; junior tee boxes are marked on all holes. Watering stations are needed; we didn't see any. Portable toilet is available on the 5th hole. Overall, a great course for a quick round.
God for short game
There's enough variety in the nine holes to use most of your clubs
Cove Links - Fun!
Its a fun little 9 hole with a couple par fours and the balance of par 3's. Quite enjoyable, very good greens and pretty spots, don't be fooled, its not simple, with many par 3's over 150 yards and undulating greens, it is a pretty good course. Surprised at the quality and length of a course through a neighbourhood. Was fun and totally worth it.

tough par 3's
This is a well designed and nicely maintained 9 hole mini course with 7 par threes and 2 relatively short par fours which works its way through a housing development. Even from the white tees the par 3's are challenging but if you want a to really test your iron game go back to the blacks. Water comes into play on most of the holes and several play close to two hundred yards including a few with forced carries. Playing here you'll probably use every club in the bag except perhaps the fairway woods. In spite of the "executive" course designation this track could be too much for beginners unless they don't mind sacrificing a few golf balls.
Ec
Decided to give this par 3 course a try after doing the grouse grind the day before. Course condition is ok, except the parking lot and the area besides the club house is doing construction. With the wind, it became quite dusty especially for the last hole. Maybe that's the reason why a special discounted price. Overall condition is not too bad, finished 18 hole within 2.5 hrs playing by myself.
Challenging
Will definitely play again. The course is still under major renovation like #9 hole tee box. Parking lot need to be aspaltted Fairway grass not healthy. New club house will be built.
Best round ever
Started off with an ace, we where the only group on the course for a sat morning so we could go at a comfortable pace. We were warned about the goose on # 4 who is very protective of his partner, but I was still ill prepared for that exchange. I shot a 2 under which is my best score yet so that definetly influences my experience, the ace helps! And Brenda truly knows the meaning of customer service! I recieved a free round for my hole in one, and she made sure we knew all the intricacies of the course plus we got a sweet price on golfnow.com.
Enjoyable 9 hole executive course
Good pace of play, greens are good as well as the fairways.
Large bunkered greens, a good test of golf.
best par 29 anywhere
7 par 3's,2 par 4's, par 3's very challenging from back tees, big smooth greens, well bunkered and lots of large ponds to carry, only negative were the huge mosquitoes still hungry early in the morning (when I played)
Lots of water hazards but always a safe way to play.
Lots of water hazards but you always have a safe place to hit .
ie short then over the creek.
