About
El Tinto Golf Club (formerly known as TPC Cancun) has an environmentally friendly layout that is a popular destination for the PGA Tour. It serves as host to several events throughout the year. When crafting the course, special care was taken to protect the native flora and fauna. As a result El Tinto blends seamlessly into the existing environment. The Nick Price design also utilizes the terrain's natural elevation changes and water features. It's a challenging but fair test with more than 80 strategically placed bunkers and five lakes that come into play throughout. You will encounter some tricky holes but the different sets of tees cater to players of every skill level. El Tinto G.C. is conveniently situated just minutes from all the major area hotels and it's less than a half hour from Playa Del Carmen.

Pro playing conditions
A real fun track with large fairways and speedy greens. We really enjoyed our time there
Challenging and FUN course.
No issues using GolfNow Hot Deal. Check in was simple enough. You get a small bucket of old practice balls. Practice area in great shape and putting area was great. Our 4some played in 4 hours 45 minutes. The course is challenging from the blue tees(6740 yards). Most fairways are wide open so the challenge is when you approach the greens as they are well protected. Greens in great shape just wish players would repair their divots on the greens. Same with bunkers some players are too lazy to rake the bunkers. Carts aren’t that great but at least you get 2 bottles of water and ice. Please tip the guy that cleans your shoes and clubs! Looking forward to playing this course again it’s a great deal if you can get a GolfPass deal.
A very nice course
This was my first round of the year, (Canadian Snowbird) , haven't swung a club in nearly 4 months. The course is very well laid out and challenges you to be smart at times. The course was a little damp from all the rain that occurred in the last week I was told, but overall in great shape. I would definitely play this course again.
Faulty cart
I had to switch out my cart after 9. Dying.. no water in the ponds, not that I need it. For $240, the course should be pristine, and it wasn't. Better cart with gps.
Above average
The course is surrounded by natural beauty, with tropical vegetation, serene lakes, and glimpses of local wildlife. The peaceful and secluded environment makes it feel like an exclusive escape from the busier areas of Cancún. Service
The staff at Cancun Country Club are exceptionally attentive and professional. From the welcoming reception team to the on-course marshals and cart attendants, everyone goes out of their way to ensure a seamless experience. The cart service, offering refreshments and snacks, is prompt and frequent.
Value for Money
The course offers a premium experience, and while the green fees are reflective of its luxury status, the overall quality and ambiance make it worth the price. It’s an ideal choice for golf enthusiasts seeking a memorable game during their stay in Cancún.
Great course!!
The course was very peaceful and the fairway and greens were great. A course I will keep on my playlist for next time.

Fun lay out…. Pace of play could be better. Greens a little slow
Pricing could be better
Everything was great except that the course was a bit wet.
Price point is a bit high. My group would golf once per week if we could get some type of package deal.
Cancun Country Club
Overall, the course layout and condition is great. There were no GPS, so bring your own GPS gear.
