Club Adena

After almost 6years the club has reopened and is in beautiful shape.

Adena - wow, what an experience. If you ever have the priveledge to play this golf course it is worth it! First and foremost, when we arrived we were not only greeted by the Head Golf Professional, but he and his staff personally helped us unload our clubs in the bag drop area and valet our car while we continued on with the tour of the clubhouse / men's locker rooms, and pro shop. Once we checked in one of the members of Adena's staff (CJ) accompanied our group to the range where he gave us a few tips for the course, cleaned our golf clubs after use from the range and supplied us with water and sunscreen for the course. The range was spectacular and the grass very lush. The overall layout of the golf course is one I've never experienced as it's built around a quarry. There are many scenic holes and really only 1 hole that seemed not to fit (#3) - extremely narrow tee shot as the fairway is covered by trees, but overall I enjoyed the layout and course conditions were phenomenal. When I say phenomenal, I mean there wasn't one blade of grass out of line. Once we finished out on #9 we were met by another member of Adena's staff who had cold towels waiting for us at our carts to "freshen up" for the back 9. Number 10 is extremely scenic overlooking the quarry from an elevated tee box with a few waterfalls as you drive from the tee box down to the fairway. This course can be challenging from the black tees where we played (just over 7,000 yds), but offers multiple tees for any level of golf with the exception of whole 15, which is a par 3 and from the front tees is over 190 yds and roughly 250 from the back tees. Once again we were greeted by a member of the Adena staff with cool towels to finish off a very pleasant and enjoyable day while on 18 green. What a treat and a must if ever given the rare opportunity. Thank you Adena staff for your graciousness and hospitality.

Nothing in Florida compares to the experience of playing Adena! The course is in fantastic shape, and the staff will bend over backwards to make your round the best ever.
