Best shot of the day on the 4th hole Photo submitted by Brett4224030 on 10/04/2012
Enjoyed the course, nice layout for a par 3 course with a couple of par 4's.
Course in good shape, except the grounds had been punched and lots of sand on greens. Greens will be nice in a few weeks.
Antelope Greens Always Great!
This is the best course around if you’re a beginner and/or want to work on your short game skills!
I always recommend playing here as a great place to get your irons working and getting your distances down!
Beginner Friendly
I’m just starting to get back into golf, and I’ve played this course maybe 4 or 5 times. Now I’m no professional by any means, but towards the end of my round I realized that I only touched my driver maybe 3 times, and the rest was pitching wedge, 9i, and putter, with maybe a 5 hybrid for a single shot. That left me wishing there were more drivable holes.
Great place to attend if you’re looking for a quick and easy round.
Staff started off a little snarky, but I think they quickly realized how they were coming off because they were very nice afterwards.
Fairways and greens are well-kept. The tee boxes could use a little bit of love here and there. Make sure you either have your GPS or a rangefinder because the listed distances on a majority of the holes are not accurate by a long-shot.
It’s Sacramento, so you’ll have a couple of homeless camps around the course, but that’s just more of an eyesore.
Plenty of places to go potty.
Shop could use a little more variety when it comes to snacks and food. Prices are fair.
Their driving range is a main attraction. All grass, no turf. Balls are affordable, just an overall great time. They even have a chipping green and an area to practice putting.
Overall, I highly recommend this course. I do plan on revisiting soon.
nice to get out of the snow
All I can say is that is was a very fun day playing with Kathy. Course is in good shape right now, it gets a lot of play from the locals, greens rolled fairly well. Having not played in 3 months it was a good course to play to get back into the swing of things
Love Antelope Greens
The staff is wonderful and the course is always a lot of fun. The rain has caused some muddy areas but they are roped off.
great 4some
pace a little slow but okay. were allowed to pass group ahead but we passed since no one in a great rush. enjoyable time with 4some.
Great time for the value
Can’t ask for much for the value you’re paying to play at this course. It rained the day before our outing so carts were unavailable for use , a walking cart was most definitely needed but they ran out so we had to carry for the whole round. Still coming back though fun track for sure.

A New Favorite!
I've played this course plenty of times these last few months and it has been an absolute pleasure. The staff is excellent and always helpful. The course is a superb value - especially in today's world of increasing prices and declining service in just about every industry. The course is well-maintained. Don't overlook this gem. You can use every club in your golf bag for an "executive course" which makes for a unique experience. Special recognition to Pete, Judy, Jesus and others who always make playing Antelope Greens a memorable experience.
Needs some work
It was “cart path only” but most didn’t have cart paths. Approaches to greens were VERY slick mud. Almost fell on my butt four times. And yes, I had golf shoes on. Put some crushed rock down guys!
As others have mentioned there are no signs directing you to the next hole. It’s a very confusing layout. You can’t rely on the scorecard. I wear glasses to read and couldn’t see it even if I had them on.
Other than that, a quick play and allows you to use your irons most of the course which I’m sure most of us desperately need.
