Greens need a lot work. A lot weeds dead areas. Not any way to know distances. Just few holes had any distance markers. Not even a pole or anything at 250 yards so had to just wing it and guess club. Staff very friendly. Called and ordered food and was brought out to us

I played the course and thought it was nice. It is now well maintained and the greens are coming back ; very few small bare spots. I recommend it

The greens were in awful shape large dead spots and lots of weeds. Grill was not open at tee time and took over an hour to receive an order once open two hours after the tee time. Not worth the amount of money spent. Sad because not my first time playing this course. It has gone down hill since the start of the season.

Used to be very nice course, although a little short. Greens are in the worst ever shape. Weeds all over and many dead spots. Lost so many balls. If you barely miss the fairway you will lose the ball. Should cut the rough a little bit more so at least we can see the top of the ball.

VERY disappointed in the course conditions. Most greens were burnt out with large dark patches and little grass and the others looked covered with lichen. The rough and apron around greens were so deep we couldn’t find our balls unless we happened to step on them. Luckily we got a great Golfnow deal but I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS!!! My bad but BEWARE!!

Worst greens I have ever played on. Used to be a decent place back when I lived in the area, not nearly worth the money now. Don't waist your time.

I hate writing reviews, and rarely do it, but felt I needed to with this course. This course was by far one of the WORST conditioned courses I have seen in a long time, maybe ever. The rough and everywhere that wasn't fairway or tee box looked like it hadn't been mowed in weeks. I lost so many balls, that were right off the fairway, or greens ( if you can even call them that). The greens were anything but that. They were diseased, dried to a point of cracking, rotting, weeds growing, some had no grass left at all, just ash looking dirt. I honestly felt cheated and robbed out of my money to pay $48(for 2 people) for such a terrible course.
I have played this course before in good conditions and it was fun, great potential, and the staff is always friendly. But today will likely be my LAST time playing here,. Unless I find out they made some SERIOUS improvements.

I regret posting such a negative review but major disappointment playing this course. I've played it before- when it was in much better condition. This course has great bones- a great, tight layout, with bent grass greens. Saturday it was a dump. It appeared the rough hadn't been cut in weeks. The greens were horrific! Every green was infested with rot or was burned due to excessive heat. Sadly in GA if you have bent grass green you have to water constantly and have a fan to circulate/ cool them. None of these things were present. Too bad for this course because unless they start spending some money I'll never be back. Terrible experience. Shame on this site for not advising us of the conditions beforehand. I feel ripped-off!

Course in receivership Do not play lost their greens. Worst conditioned course I have ever played. Stay away I paid $17.00 and based on the abhorant conditions it was Wirth maybe $6.00

I was excited to play a new course and boy was I dissatisfied. Approximately half of the greens were 50% dirt(no grass). The fairways were very tall, sometimes couldn't find my ball unless i was right on top of it. The first cut was 6" tall or more in some cases. The course layout is terrible (you keep driving around trying to find the next tee box).

Hit your fairways or lose your ball. The fringe is about four inches high and very dense. Not easy to find a ball off the fairway. The greens especially those on the front nine are in pretty rough shape (bare spots). Back nine lots of crabgrass stumps. Sand traps are hard packed. But for the price I paid and the pace I played at, yeah I'd do it again.

First time playing this course. First off the people at the club house were splendidly pleasant. The ladies in the bar were very kind, thank you. While the man in the pro shop was as well a good experience.

Not my best round that is for sure, the course layout is nice. Makes you put your driver away and hit 3 w and 5 w some. The course is short from the Whites, but you still have to make the shots.

The greens were horrible, they need attention, the rough was too thick, lost several balls in that i couldn't find them just off the green.

Mow the grass and blow some leaves, its hard to find your ball in the fairway with leaves everywhere.

However, it was still good to get out and swing the clubs, played very quickly, and the other patrons were as well super nice.

Overall a pretty good atmosphere.

Any drive off the fairway by even a couple of feet took forever to find.. you had to be standing over the ball to see it. Greens were eaten up with something, not sure if it was a fungus or terminal neglect... I played there 3 months ago and greens were fine as I recall.. couldn't wait to finish. Got paired up with a couple of singles and our consensus was same... quality of play was diminished by the condition of this course. It can be a fun layout, but needs attention.

Not a bad course, but they seemed to have all but given up on course maintenance. Sand traps were hard as concrete with run-out ruts and dead leaves throughout. It was obvious they had not been groomed in weeks. Greens would more appropriately be call "browns".

I hate to bash a golf course. A hot deal lured me to this course. The staff was really helpful and friendly. However.... They have a net instead of a range for warming up. Then, I discovered that the greens are in terrible condition-- tire marks, dead grass and weeds. Speaking of weeds, the traps were not maintained and were also growing werfpds. The course was generally not well maintained. The ball washers didn't have towels, the greens were long or in really poor condition. It is obvious that the course is having a tough time financially. On a positive note, I was able to finish my round in 3:15 and enjoyed my best score ever.

I have played this course numerous times over the past 3 years. Most of the time it is in pretty descent shape. However after playing it yesterday, I honestly believe they should just close it for 2 or 3 weeks to make the necessary repairs. Every single green was missing large areas of grass. Lots of weeds though. It was impossible to putt. The fairways were ok, but the rough was extremely long. The bunkers looked horrible and were like concrete. Definitely think twice before booking a tee time here......I know I sure will!
