You just can’t beat the venue or staff at Bonita. They really make you feel welcome and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your visit.
The course is kept in very good condition especially when you consider how popular it is .

Can’t beat Bonita for conditions, Friendliness, price and weather. If you are a walker you will love the layout. Can’t say enough nice things about Bonita!

Bonita GC is my go to course, providing you a great course layout with excellent conditions. The staff are always friendly and professional. A hidden gem in San Diego!

Great course to walk, however because of the number of people walking the pace can get very slow. I Vishnu’s the management would be proactive in keeping the slower players moving.

Can’t be beat for walking a round. The staff does a great job of keeping the course very playable. My only issue is the lack of a marshal to keep players moving and not abusing the course. Oh yeah, what happened to the attire standards? A tank top?

Always friendly, great to walk. The only issue I have ever had here is pace of play. It is so popular that course is busy. There are a lot of regulars and they keep the pace moving. It would be nice to have a marshal for those infrequent groups that slow down the pace.

I had the pleasure of playing Bonita after a three day break in rain, mind you this was not a deluge however, this is SoCal. The greens were in good shape (16 of 18) but the fairways were mostly quagmires or pools of water. The morning rains did not help, my tee time was 0654 the rains came about 0900. Drainage is a real issue for this course. No GPS in the carts! I would be hesitant to recommend this course with rain in the forecast inside of 4 days.

Greens are in good condition. Fairways are fair. Course is getting better. My review is more directed at the driving range. Turn a good driving range into one of the worse. No consideration of customers. The new range has no trash cans, club cleaners, bench's or chairs, shade. No steps up to the new raised tee box. Not user friendly to elders. And getting balls you have to go the the pro shop. Can not use a credit/debit card. They use to have a driving range shop. No longer. No soda machine. You can't drive a cart anywhere near the range. You are not given a cart until after you hit the range. Absurd. How

Customers. They have taken all the user friendliness out of the range. I've spoken to more than a few People who think like I do.

Fun course however the Eucalyptus trees can be quite challenging. Great Fairways with good greens, weekends can be a bit busy however usually finish the course in 4.5 hours. Great Bar and Grill that serves breakfast and lunch. Overall a good course and although I decided to ride I noticed it would be very easy to walk this course.
