Course Mix Up
I booked a 4 some for the South course 1 week in advance. When I arrived to the course I was instructed by the starter that we were playing the North course. I was a little confused as I had booked the South course and I was looking forward to playing it. Overall the North course was a great track but unfortunately because I was walking, I had no visibility on yardages since the course had yet to be mapped by SkyCaddie. It made playing the course more difficult and less enjoyable for me. Other than that, the staff was great and so was the facility.

On 3.27.2025 we were the 2nd group to go off, 7am. 2 people, one of whom works at Corica, played in a 2some in from of us. We waited on EVERY SINGLE SHOT because they took their sweet time. Although we finished in 4 hours and 20 minutes, it should have taken less than 4 hours. Did this person not understand that the first group sets the pace for the entire day? Shame on this employee for doing this.
Nice course. Super fast greens
Nice enough layout, I grew up in Alameda in the 60's 70's. The course is a nice enough layout but the costs for visiting senior golfers is way too expensive. $70 greenfees for walking? Monarch bay just down the road a much better value. And the greens are a lot more puttable. The greens at Corica are not fun. I play a lot in SF and the greens at Presidio, OlympicClub and Harding are much more fair.
Nice course, but it was slow for me.
I enjoyed my round and will return. The course is interesting and well laid out. Unfortunately, it took over 5 hours as we waited on every tee box. The group in front of us was waiting as well, so there was no chance to pass.
Awesome layout quick and big greens
Played the south course for the first time since the remodel. I’ve heard great things about Corica. So I will say it’s fun track the layout is fair and yet challenging. The greens are the main defense bug and fast. They rolled really true. My only complaint is the fairways are brown and have some spots with no grass. Not sure if that’s from the time of year it is and they go dormant. I just expect a course to be a bit more lush for $120 ish a round. Would still come back to play though.
putting challenge
Corica is a links style course with almost no trees to navigate off the tee. I'd call this primarily a 2nd shot course although one needs to position their drive for the best approach. The numerous bunkers are well placed and in good condition. The greens are firm and fast so irons need to be well struck well to hold the greens and balls kept below the hole and on the same section of the green as the hole location. Putting is very challenging from any location however. This course rewards good golf skills.
Nice course, but probably won't play here again
Very busy with the 3 courses there. I was disappointed by the lack of an air compressor to blow all the debris off my cart. Clubhouse and bar are nice. It's a little far for me so i'm unlikely to return.
Great design and drainage.
This course is fun to play and just the right amount of challenge. It’s drains water after the rain so it’s my go to after storms.
Solid course with challenging greens
The course is in good conditions and the greens are impeccable. Front nine is pretty wide open, with a back nine that values accuracy off the tee. Greens are firm and fast. Great challenge!
