Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

We played Delta View in Pittsburg at noon , the
weather was cold and windy.
The pace was steady and we finished in about 4
hours.
The greens were mowed and rolled, fairways had
some bare spots, typical California.
Views of surrounding hills, delta waterway and City
of Pittsburg.
Overall a good experience, and worth the short
drive over the hill.
We played Delta View in Pittsburg at noon and we finished is less than 4 hours.
The greens were in good condition and fast, the fairways and rough was reasonably maintained, with some bare spots, typical California.
Views of surrounding hills, and good delta view from
hole 8 tee box.
Lots of mature trees.
Worth the drive.
No Sand In Sand Traps
There are sand traps all over this course and not a single one had playable sand traps. They all need to have sand added and many needed to have mud removed from where it rained two weeks ago.
Delta View
We played Delta View in Pittsburg as a twosome
at noon.
The pace of play was good, and we finished in less
than 4 hours.
The course is a combination of some level fairways
and some hillside, with good views of the surrounding
hillside.
Greens were mowed and rolled, fairways had some
bare spots, like most of California.
Overall a good value for the money and worth the
small drive over the hill from Concord.
Good experience
Overall very good except golf cart keep stalling had to get it replaced 3 times in one round
playing in the rain
It was raining lightly, The pace of play was good. Then the golf cart died on the 14th hole and I had to walk the rest of the round in the rain. Then they argued with me about my $3 key deposit because I did not have the key.
the bad thing about the course is they allow people start out on 1 or 10. This means you could finish up on 9 only to find you are stuck behind a slow four some
sad, Pittsburg, sad
the City fathers have no compassion for their Muni.; this is evident in all areas - of barely keeping this course open. The paving in parking area has some hog wallers; the cart paths in some places will jar your kidneys; men's restroom was a litter zone, with one toilet posted out of order ( & guess janitor on permanent vaca.)
This course has good bones....needs A LOT of TLC; if city could spring for a few bucks, & put sand/seed bottles on carts, maybe the players could fix a few patchy areas
We played Delta View in Pittsburg at noon as a
threesome and got around in under 4 hours.
The greens are generally in good condition, and
the fairways have some bare spots, but playable.
Some sloping hills and some flat areas makes the
course interesting.
Staff is friendly. Great pub.
Attract more
I feel if they ran a special on large bucket for $5 on weekend could get more people out to play

2days in a row
I played this course 2 days in a row with my friend Douggiefresh. We played the whites tees Monday and blues Tuesday. We have played many rounds here. Very fun course, greens looking good. we both hit some great shots and sum not so great. I think it’s the best around for the price and to perfect you game.
An everyday Gem
Great Muni course, quite varied on it's playing demands
