Contra Costa - Short & Hilly
I met two colleagues for a business lunch and golf at this private club in the East Bay area. Never heard of it before. Glad I know of it know. The staff were great. The course is short, playing 6,500 yards over sweeping fairways with what seems like elevation changes on every hole. No hole sticks out as a hole to remember. Largest undulating greens I have seen in a while. Only improvement I could see that needed to happen what the membership needs to work on their pitch marks on the green. Our group walked the course. I would submit it was 50% riders, 50% walkers. Did not affect pace of play. Overall, if I lived in the area, I would be a member here.

Great course, great views, well maintained!!!
I used to play three times a week on public courses and practice two time a week. The cost on public courses worked out to be almost the same as this private course. Now I can just show up and practice, and/or play anytime, no problem. Obviously the course and especially the greens are in much better shape on this private course than public courses. Much better practice facilities.
