Would love to come back
Played in the Golf Channel Am Tour event 1/27.
The course is smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but there are no houses on the course.
Weather was perfect & the course was in great shape even though we had heavy rains a couple of nights before.
Fairways were a bit shaggy as they could not be mown due to rain, but the bunkers were perfect, and the greens were about as true as I've ever played.
The course isn't too long (from our tee's) but is certainly challenging, the 18th is a beast of a hole.
Hope this gem is on the schedule next year, can't wait to play it again.
Del Paso Country Club
Wonderful rebuilt and redesigned , by Kyle Phillips, in 2006. Home of the 2015 USGA senior open. Cross the creek 8 times, Collin Montgomery remarked the green were the "best" he has ever played. Excellent history since 1915. Previous home to horse racing farm that won the Kentucky Derby in 1888!

I think the 2016 US Senior Open allowed Del Paso to really show itself off, but I still feel this is an underrated course.
Beautiful conditions, awesome layout, smooth greens, gorgeous clubhouse.
Del Paso grows up, ready to host of the 2015 U.S. Senior Open
Del Paso looks like it's been there a century. It has ... sort of. Del Paso, founded in 1916, will celebrate its 100th birthday as a club in 2016, but as a modern championship layout capable of hosting the 2015 U.S. Senior Open, Del Paso is a mere child at 10 years old. California architect Kyle Phillips completely revamped the old 6,300-yard layout in 2006, rerouting nearly every hole, taking down nearly 700 trees and laying down wall-to-wall rye grass. The new 7,121-yard par-71 version will play plenty long and tough for the stars of the Champions Tour. The members love their new home because it drains much better in the winter, and there's some cool new holes. The five par 3s are solid. The short 318-yard ninth hole and daunting 18th hole are each unique doglegs to the left. Two par 5s - no. 1 and no. 4 - and the beautiful par-4 10th hole are impacted by a creek running through the site. The 15th hole plays 636 yards from the tips, the longest par 5 in tournament history. The club has hosted four other USGA women's championships since 1957, but this one will prove Del Paso is ready for prime time with the big boys coming to town.
