Tahoe Paradise Golf Course

About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

Great staff!
The worker who checked me in was a champion employee. Very friendly and very good at her job.
Low cost short and narrow.
Although the staff is friendly and the green fees are low cost, this course is very short and very narrow lined with really tall pine trees. Very difficult tee shots and postage stamp greens. Fun yes but lower your expectations.
Just what I ws looking for
Short course for a regular duffer but beautiful, picturesque mountain-side layout. Light breeze, greens, fairways and rough in great condition. Slower greens than I was expecting. Will definitely play it again, but as a warm-up round at high elevation. I rode, but not a difficult course to walk if you're acclimated to the 8,000 ft. elevation. Finished the round in just over 3 hrs.
Cart fee not included - Special ..Be Aware..
It was a fun course to play but the prices were out of sight and did not include a cart. It was the low price special and at 82 years old I missed the small print. $50 seems like a lot for a cart for two.
Rude Marshall will FOLLOW YOU
Marshall made us feel rushed on hole 7 when we were keeping up with a group that had an infant riding in their cart. So we made sure to give them a bit more space since tee boxes and greens are very near each other.
Won't come back
First time playing this course.....SLOW and LOTS of Knuckleheads on the course with ZERO golf course educate. People playing in a group of 6....playing with NO SHIRT, driving the carts on the tee box and green.
One Marshal who didn't have a chance today.
Paradise
The staff was very friendly and accomidating., and so were the many golfers we met there. The course views were impressive and definitely photo worthy. Some of the up and downhill transitions, along with the doglegs were challenging in a fun way. The course was very tight where some tree trimming or removal is necessary. The layout is too tight in some areas where safety was a concern on a few holes. The round was slow. The rental clubs need to be retired, because they are old technology and worked over from years of use. For an executive course, it is also a bit pricey. With all said we had a very good round and hope others appreciate this objective feedback.
Not a Fan of this Course
My husband and I played here on a Friday. The problem we had with the course is the layout. There were balls flying by repeatedly. The t box and the greens were in very close proximity. The group behind us got hit by a golf ball and there were many near misses. We didn’t even finish our round. My husband and I were afraid we would get hit by a golf ball before the round was over. We complained to management but they were un sympathetic. It didnt help that the group playing in front of us were strong but not accurate with their shots. Balls were hitting the trees too. Scary!
Scary Narrow Fairways & Several Scary Balls Wizzing By
This was the first time my husband and I played this course. We were behind a five some group playing best ball. There were other foursomes playing with them. The problem was errant balls flying by. The two dads with their young boys cart got hit and another player told us a ball nearly missed him. Players were yelling FOUR frequently and it was very scary to be putting when the players ahead were at the T box hitting VERY CLOSE to us. We jumped to the back nine but that was no better. We finally left not playing at least seven holes because we were so scared we would get hit. The way the course is designed the T box and putting greens are in very close proximity. I complained to the man at the counter but he didn’t have any comment.
Beautiful course but overpriced
Beautiful course and views. Short course. Some tough greens. Golf carts absolutely overpriced. Have no power at all. Green fees way too pricey, even with Hot Deal (without cart which was 25 bucks EACH extra in itself)
