Diablo Hills Golf Course

The course is well kept and fun to play with bunkers at every hole and is very challenging to rookies like myself ever chance I get I’ll head out there!!!

The course conditions were OK, especially given the price. But the pace was terrible. They book too many people on even the slowest days. The marshal did nothing to move even the slowest players along, and allowed newbies to drop and play 2-3 balls, even though there was a backup. On one hole, there were 4 groups waiting to play.

Play early if you want to finish in less than 2 hours.

This course has the best staff I've seen in ages from the pro shop check in to the marshal/ambassador to the employees in the the dining room--and I believe it's due principally to the manager doing the hiring and their staff training.

All greens need work. They are bumpy and uncut.

Grass has many water and just plain mud spots -- needs grass seed and grooming.

I played this time after the recent severe rainstorms and the fairways were Extremely soggy, thus the GN $15 total cost rate which made it worth the.price for some on-course practice prior to the weekend’s tournament play elsewhere. The greens were in good condition, though, understandably, very slow, so I did not want to spend any time putting on them. I have played here several times in the past during good weather if I ran into a good GN rate option, and when playing 18 on full size a local course was not an option, but, though it is decently maintained, I would never play here at the standard $27 rate as the course is mediocre and significantly overpriced at the full rate.

Always enjoy playing here. Especially nice when just don't have time for 18 holes.

It’s a nice golf course I like playing there ,I like the set up but I can play 18 holes at a comparable course for less money.

I chose a pull cart. While the weather was good, the pace of play was too slow, as we needed to wait to tee off on 6 of the 9 holes. This course is too short to take 2.5 hours to play the 9 holes.
