About
Lake Arbor Golf Course is a scenic 18-hole course that is open to the public. The course is 5,865 yards at its longest tees. The course features lush, medium-sized greens and narrow fairways. Great Staff and in Good Shape
Gave it another go at Lake Arbor. Course is in good shape. It is a very tight course, and not very long. Back 9 feels like it opens up a bit more with a few good par 4s. 18 is a pretty tough closing par 3. Had a good time out there and the staff is very friendly.
Too Tight for Me
I feel like golf course was forced into the housing that surrounds it. Al most every hole requires the player to hit close to someone's backyard or a busy road. The 7th in particular requires a line right over several condos to place your tee shot in a good spot.
Thankfully the course is not very long, so it is possible to keep driver in the bag if you are having a wild day.
Conditions on the course were pretty good. Fairways and rough areas were quite lush. Greens were spongy and fairly slow for this time of year.
This is a good place to play a late afternoon 9 with friends, but I would not make a point of retuning any time soon.
Arvada City Course
This is a short layout being Just under 5700 yards from the blue tees. There's not a lot of trouble but there is OB on every hole but one.
During the summer months this course is always in top shape. Fairways are narrow on some holes, the greens are small however they putt very true.

Good in-town corse
I prefer par 4-5 heavy courses so this one already makes the list. Straight without a lot of obstacles so it's not as intriguing as I'd like but overall, for the price with cart, pace was good and the day was great!
Basic
Course conditions were great, this course is simple not much diversity or challenge. Great course to feel good about your game.
Lake Arbor
Typical old school course. Blue tees are not much farther than white. Play it if the price is right.
Slow day.
There seemed to be too many people out playing. They ran out of carts so we had to wait until our exact tee time to get to the tee box and get our carts.
Great Par 70 Golf Course
Our foursome consisted of two guys who had experience playing Lake Arbor and the two of us rookies.
Some very challenging holes and some easier ones with birdie potential.
The greens and most of the course was in great shape.
We will play again at least once more this summer.
LayOut tight
There were several holes that we're back to back were you had to be watchful of flying balls. Did not like the layout and nothing special about the holes. A place to play if you just want to practice your game.
Perfect
I found the perfect tee time for an amazing price and even though I made a mistake and booked my time for two days later, the gentleman at the front desk made my day and set me up anyway!!!
Long But Friendly
Some of the holes play long, but what you see is what you get. Fairways are largely flat and wide. Holes are close enough to each other for walking. Nine hole rate is fair, not 80% of 18, as some courses do.
GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
FUN-FAIR COURSE, BUT THE PRICE AND TEE-TIME BRINGS OUT BEGINNER GOLFERS THAT DO NOT FOLLOW PROPER GOLF ETIQUETTE... SLOW PLAY, DRIVING CARTS ON TO TEE BOXES, AROUND GREENS, AND DOWN PAR-3 FAIRWAYS THAT ARE CLEARLY MARKED "CART PATH ONLY."
Challenging course
Good course to use every club in your bag.
Lake Arbor
Course layout needs to be a little better and the directions on which way you go. But overall course and conditions were great and the staff was friendly and helpful and everything .
Fun little course
Lake arbor is a fun, short course with narrow fairways and small greens. Don't worry if you don't hit many greens in regulation, you can still score well! Most of the greens are elevated which adds about 1/2 club more than you think. Not many risk vs reward holes...the golf course is pretty straight forward and you will get to use every club in your bag. Really enjoyed paying here and we will be back again later this year!
Renovations hurt my experience
Overall a decent course. They were doing renovations so a lot of tee boxes were moved up (I shot 3 under when I normally shoot 5 or 6 over). It was hard for me to get a feel for the layout due to to this but I still think it wasn't very challenging. Many putts were dead straight, but they were in good shape and rolled "true". All in all, if you can get on for less than $30 it would be worth it, but for the advanced golfer I would not recommend.
This course was in good condition for that time of year
The course has a promotional feature, but if you book through Golfnow you are not eligible to participate. It's a free round of golf after so many times.
