Consistently Good Place to Play
Who doesn’t like playing here? That is the biggest problem...so popular. Our round took over 4:5 hours which felt slow at times. It didn’t help that two guys decided to cut in front of us while we were playing the first hole....and the marshal didn’t do anything about it when we mentioned it. What good is he. Must have been his buddies.
Love their greens
Course was in great shape especially for how dry its been! Greens were near perfect. Beautiful course!
Exceptional greens, three 9-hole courses
I’ve never seen a course that can have rates at $17 all the way up to $60 a round. I also have yet to play a north Ga golf course that didn’t have greens maintained as well as Bradshaw Farms. There’s a great approach to the care of this course. The greens are blemish-free and fast. The pin placements make putting extremely challenging with the speed of these greens. The course is very attentive to tee times and give you only a couple minute window before your “flight” has passed. The red course has zero shade and will give you a sweet tan when you’re done. Happy hitting.
Course was in very nice condition, especially considering the dry hot weather. Greens are challenging, fast and rolling. Rough was thick and will cost you a stock. Fun course to play.
Second time playing
This was my second time playing at Bradshaw Farm. I played the red and white courses again after being very happy with the course conditions the first time. For me, this course is one of the best to play for the price within 30 miles. I will be coming back here regularly from now on! The only critique I have is that the driving range isn’t very helpful since it’s a huge drop off past the mats, but other than that Bradshaw is my favorite local club.
Had a good time playing this course today. Not terribly difficult but it had some tough shots. The majority of the greens were in good shape and rolled true. The only complaint was around hole 14 the guys two groups ahead of us started playing painfully slow which turned a 3hr 15 min round into a 4 hour round. Other then that it was a great day.
Always Fun To Play
We played Red/White and it took 4.5 hours. The two guys in our foursome were a bit slow. We could have been done in 4 hours. Greens were a little sandy, but not too bad.
Short Sighted Organization
In decades of avid golfing, rarely have I encountered such poor customer service as I experienced by the parent company of Bradshaw Farms Golf Course recently--even more disappointing is that it was in conjunction with Golf Now, of which I have been a VIP for many years.
In late Oct, three friends and I were set to play at Bradshaw Farms Golf Course. I booked us all through Golf Now as I pay for the VIP membership with them. It had been a while since I played the course since it is about 45 minutes away from where I live. However, one of my regular golf buddies is moving about two miles away so we thought it was time to visit again as it was going to be an easy choice for many rounds in the near future.
The weather ended up being misty and overcast with bouts of full on rain and, at the last minute, one of the four guys decided to not come. I've had this happen before and courses were always understanding when not crowded and in dismal conditions. Despite those conditions that would drive most folks away, the remaining three of us braved the weather and had a great time (other than the first cart breaking down at the driving range). Afterward, we went to the clubhouse and had lunch and a couple beers and watched some football. We booked another foursome for the next Saturday and were happy to plan on it being our "go-to" course now that our friend was moving so close.
Then on Monday I got charged for the 4th player who did not play. When I phoned Golf Now to explain the circumstances, that the weather was horrid and the course virtually empty, a representative told me that this was the default practice of Bradshaw's management company but that "they typically refund the fee if requested." So they would make the request and get back to me.
After a month of weekly calls (since no one at Golf Now ever followed up with me as promised) I've discovered that Bradshaw has declined to refund me the $65 charge. We'd already canceled the foursome we booked while waiting to see how the course treats its patrons, and now that we know we will not be returning to a course so unaccommodating. After the funds we spent that day and the amount we would be spending there in the future, it is a shame they feel having that $65 is more important than the $350 a weekend we would drop each time we visit. Pretty short sighted method of running a business. Find another course that appreciates your business far more than Bradshaw Farms--we certainly have.
Bradshaw Farms Review
The greens were in great shape, as were the fairways. Some of the T Boxes could be better however, overall the course was in great shape!
Always fun to play
Played Red/Blue. Before 8am. Tees, fairways and greens in excellent condition. Red has great elevational changes. Staff was friendly, cart girl avail on back nine. Only minorinconvenience was bathrooms (on Blue) were still locked @ 11am. Bradshaw will continue to be part if tge rotation.i
Everytime I play this course it's always in great shape. The greens are A+
Nice course
27 hopes to choose from. Today we played white to blue courses. Greens were in really good shape. True breaks nice speed. Fairways were tight with nice roll. Looking forward to my next round here
Needs improvement
This is not a player friendly course. Too much trouble that impedes speed of play. Poorly placed bunkers near greens where you have to go around a large bunker to even get on the green. Tee times too close together for level of difficulty.
Good Layout, Good Condition
After 3.5 days of rain I was impressed with how well the course drained. The overall condition of the course was good. Greens were a little slow but they might not have been able to cut them after all the rain (then only ended that morning). Played Red/White.
