Little municipal course that wants to be a private club
Set tee time for two as I was playing with a brand new golfer.. The pared is with another two and by hole 4 the Marshal was out.. completely rude and assnine telling the group to play faster.. this is a municipal course and I have never been treated this Rude at private courses I play.. Marshall claimed he wasn’t rude when confronted but 3 other witnesses say otherwise.. grand junction parks Anna’s recreation should be ashamed of this course city’s do these projects so everyone can enjoy the sport and not be harassed by the staff.. Good elsewhere there are plenty of ever options
Get your act together
The city needs to do something with the2 nd tee off point. I am a resident on LOST Ball ct. I realize where I live, but it is ridiculous that I have to replace 3-4 windshields a year. Move the tee box or put up a god dam fence to protect the residents of this neighborhood!!!! Where is the marshall to ensure that people are playing golf, not another round at Bananas.
Best course in the Valley!
The staff was and has always been wonderful and accommodating.
Great course with view
This a great course to stop and play at with a great layout and panoramic red Mountain View
Never overly crowded and if you play around August , get a chance to play in some great conditions as mini tour event is right around the corner
Fun course with some quirks.
Course was in great shape. Especially the greens. It just has a couple of weird holes #2 and #7. Front 9 is tight but the tight holes are fair because they are short. Back 9 is wide open. It is a proof a course does not need to be 7500 yards to make it challenging. I bet the more you play the course the more you appreciate it. Oh ya, there is an irrigation ditch running across # 4 in the landing zone that you can't see from the tee and there is no sign telling you it is there. Fun course just a bit different. You can also walk the course as there is no walking between holes.
Tough front 9, but can make hay on the back nine.
A really great muni for the $. Great staff, great layout.
Beautiful views
Course in very nice condition. It was hot so not many players out. Front nine tougher than back nine in my opinion. Highly recommend it.
Petesstuff
Nice layout even though there were times when we had to ask where the next T box was. Greens were just drilled so the putting was a little uneven. Other than that all was very good for the price. I would play there again.
Good shape
Course was in good shape. Fun track to play. One down fall. No beer cart.
Good shape
The course was in good shape for this time of year. Staff very friendly.
A 5 sum on the course would not let me pass. I was forced to pass and skip a par 5 hole.
Great Golf Experience
As a new resident of Grand Junction I was excited to play this highly touted City owned course. I was not disappointed! The setting in the shadows of the Colorado National Monument cannot be beat (although the late afternoon shadows on this 50 degree December day made it quite cool!). From the wonderful staff in the Pro Shop to the good pace of play as well as the conditions of the course for this time of year made it a great golf day!
