Rogers Park Golf Course - Short Course

First time playing this course! Wonderful experience.

It was my first time ever trying a course and it was awesome. The course is meant for youth but is great for beginners or anyone who wants to work on 100 yard range. You have to walk the course but it's not bad at all. The greens can be tough but overall it's a great short course and would highly recommend it to anyone who is starting off.

I think many of us know the 50-100 yard range is what many of us need to work on. Great little pitch and play course. Mats are honestly really good. Some of the greens have slope changes which could make putting difficult in a great way. Starter is great. Was able to finish this with 2 other friends in about 1-1.5 hours. If you’re itching to golf and short on time this is an awesome course to do it on.

This is such a fun little 9 hole course, and for just $9, you can't beat that price anywhere! The course was built for the First Tee of Tampa Bay, so it's definitely designed with youth in mind. It's closed on Saturdays so the organization can use it. Holes range from 60 to 120 yards, and each hole has a large, elevated teeing area that is simulator-quality mat. The course prohibits hitting off the grass around the tee boxes. The greens have some really unique shapes to them, and mounding around the greens make it tricky to determine how much room you have. A couple holes even have some elevation change. I could go around this course for hours and hours on end. Highly recommend checking it out and PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE COURSE.
