Awful. Just insanely bad.
This course shouldn't even be allowed to operate. It's literally the worst course I have ever seen.
Rough
Staff is friendly and course layout is alright. Very poorly maintained; tee boxes are all dirt and slanted, fairways are all dirt, greens are overgrown with weeds and dirt patches. Definitely has gone downhill compared to last year, unfortunate.
Great opportunity to practice for an amazing price
I had a great first experience at Chandler Park Golf Course. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the main highlight was the opportunity to play 9 holes for an amazing and fantastic value.
The course conditions were decent and well-maintained, providing a relaxed and easy layout. While it may not have the challenges of a championship course, it’s the perfect spot to practice and work on your golf game. It’s especially ideal for golfers looking to gain experience on an actual course without the high prices that many other places charge.
I highly recommend Chandler Park Golf Course for an affordable and enjoyable 9 hole round of golf. I’ll definitely be back!
This shouldn't even be allowed to operate.
I can't even believe this is open. It quite literally looks like it's been closed for 2 years. It is the worst golf course I have ever seen in my entire life. And that's saying something.
Great for Beginners
This was my first time going to this course. I appreciate that it is right in the neighborhood. I will be back with some friends. Also heard there was a golf clinic the next day and I came back for that. I love opportunities to learn more.
Still open
Club house is new and nice. Bring something to tie down your bag if you use their pull carts. Or bring your own or just carry your own bag. It’s a good walk and enjoyable to play. The greens need some TLC but they always have. The course demands accuracy and the rough is unforgiving. Plan to lose a couple balls. Will play it again.
They dont let kids play
The City of Atlanta has a rule where they don’t allow kids under the age of 7 for “safety” reasons even though the course is in the middle of a larger park where people are walking around and a playground right next to the 4th hole.
Course Needs Care
Looks like some work is being done to improve the greens of candler park but the poor conditions coupled with the excessive litter make it out to be more of a transient teen hang out than a destination for golfers.
Not well maintained, no true pro shop
Will go back to cross creek as the amenities are better. Would love to see this course with a pro shop and restaurant of some sort!
Great practice course
Expect it to be fairly fast paced because there are other beginners eager to hit the green.
Good practice course
Plenty of parking in front and friendly staff. Great for walking and improving as a beginner.
Cheap golf, should probably be free golf
Expectations weren’t high, it’s $10 to play after all. But candler park is as bare bones as you get. Walking only, dirt patches on all greens, no signage anywhere. Love a cheap little par 3…but there are better options nearby for that.
