Best value course in Atlanta
Let’s get the one major negative out of the way: there are no Par 5s
That being said, this course is so much better than its price would make you think. Greens are properly maintained, landscaping is pretty, it is a good mixture of challenging and fun for a 20 handicap like me, and the staff is always just so cool
Decent value for a last minute tee time
First time playing with a group of 3 on a Saturday. Driving range was packed and we had to wait about 15 minutes to get a spot. Carts were in good condition. Greens play pretty slow and bumpy. Also keep in mind this is a 9 hole course with no par 5s. With that in mind I do feel the price is a bit high. On the plus side, the clubhouse is very clean and updated.

Great Challenging 9 Hole Course

Great local course
Came into to visit from Chicago...was worried 9 holes wouldn't be enough, but this course gives you everything you're looking for. short and long par 3s, birdie able par 4s, and a beast of a par 5 over water (the last hole is a beast too). Great course for all..plus if 9 isn't enough, they've got an awesome grass and turf driving range to go with a separate pitching/chipping/putting areas

Major improvements
This course is night/day from what it was 3-5 years ago. Major quality upgrades on all tee boxes and greens, and excellent remodel job in the clubhouse.
Only 9 holes total but a great quick, exec course option in Atlanta.

Great way to spend time with my 13 year old grandson
It's wonderful to see my grandson enjoy being out on a very good course. For an infrequent golfer, he is good enough to play well at times, and the challenging layout gave him all he could handle.
The young lady inside the clubhouse started our day off with a very cheerful smile and "good luck" wishes. Even though the driving range wasn't open on Monday morning, we were able to tee off a bit early with only a few other golfers around. This allowed us to work on his game a bit during the round. We look forward to returning.
Pace of Play
Piece of play was absolutely atrocious. There were almost 2 or three groups waiting at every box of every hole. It took us well over three hours to play a nine hole golf course. The Marshall was much more interested in talking on the phone than governing anything. Felt like one of the days where the clubhouse just wanted to squeeze as many people onto the course as possible.

Very convenient!
The course is good for walking. No par 5 courses, so I can say this has no challenges. I just enjoy the nice weather.
The location is good, near to my work. I can casually visit there after work.

Top Short Course
Yates is awesome. Par 30 (6 3s and 3 4s). Nicely conditioned, fun and challenging layout. Awesom practice facility. Youth on Course program. And now they serve beer. Golf as it should be. Carry or get a push cart to enjoy it fully.
