Great round with friends
Course from tees to greens were in great playing order. Perfect pace with friends of varying ability. Slight rain did not hamper play.
Golf cart gps
The course was cart path only this day which is fine but their golf cart GPS was so awful that you couldn’t move an inch without the cart shutting off. We played most of our round driving in reverse. The staff didn’t help at all when we called the lady said she couldn’t help because the other people were not on site. Just a great course but they gotta fix that. Don’t play here if it just rained or if it’s cart path only.
Blugene
Great course and great layout
Only issue is that many greens have not recovered since 2023
Forrest hills
First time playing this course in a while, they have definitely been putting money back into the course which is always nice. Would have been nice to know that they had just aerated the greens. Turned into a beautiful day and had fun with friends.
Southern Golf
The course was very good. My only reason for not saying great,it was still recovering from the winter and had a couple bare spots!! Would love to play it again later in the year🏌🏻♂️🏌🏻♂️🏌🏻♂️
Not worth anything over $100
The price was $250 per person, the only possible reason had to be masters weekend because the putting surfaces were horrendous. Dead patches and green sand covered certain areas. Would not return
Greens are unplayable.
We came out to the course to play during Masters week. Pro Shop warned us before we went out they had two greens that weren’t in great condition. That was an understatement. 80% of the greens were under repair and unplayable to putt on. Most of the tee boxes were burned out and under repair as well. What was really disappointing was they charged us Masters week fees inflation at $225 a person and the course was in terrible condition. Play this course at your own risk. The course needs lots of work.
Not worth the money
I played during Masters week. Price was the most I’ve paid for golf yet the greens and tee boxes were the worst I’ve ever played on. I wish they would have mentioned it when I booked or at least not charged me $275 to play it. The course layout and fairways were great. The staff was very polite and nice.
Course with great legacy
We were welcomed by the friendly staff. The course has great legacy and it would be great if the course which had a great layout could be presented in better condition.
Greens Had Rough Spots
Fairways were good, greens and tee boxes had a good many rough spots. Pace a play was very slow.
Greens
This course is a favorite and play it regularly.
I was disappointed in the greens which were sanded and not in great condition.
It was disappointing to not have in better condition especially at time of year .
We’ll give it a few weeks before returning.
Near Spring ready
Overall good experience playing with friends. We are average golfers between 20-25 HC.
Course fairways are coming in nice. Tee boxes were really wet but greens were not. Seemed to be some groups larger than 4 slowing down play but was not excessive.
Historical Gem
First off this is really where Bobby Jones starting his romp ending in his four majors. There is basically a Bobby Jones Museum next to the grill room...Secondly, this is a Donald Ross gem which is being carefully restored.
Augusta University plays here so they are required to maintain a certain level of quality under NCAA rules.
Scenic, challenging, historic and reasonably priced.
Go play!
