Played Twilight-Everything was closed

Nice course. Too many grounds being repaired. 19th hole was closed by 5:00 pm. Couldn’t find “Fresh water” to drink anywhere. Now I know.

Thank you for playing Heritage Oaks GC.
Since golf traffic has slowed down, golf course maintenance is taking the opportunity to do necessary maintenance and construction.
Cold drinks are available in the Pro Shop until 5:30.
Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Give it try. You'll love it!

Heritage Oaks is a must play for me every time I'm in the area which is 7-8 times a year. The course is always in great shape, is challenging for all levels of golfers, & has some gorgeous holes nestled along the river & marches. The golf pros, Kevin & Bubba, are as nice as they come & their staff is as well! Their rates are reasonable and if you book through Golfnow they are even more reasonable. The bar is well stocked & the restaurant has consistently good food for at the turn or at the end of your round. You've got to put this one on your "to play" list!!

Great Condition

Play this course every time we come to St Simons Island. Just a short drive from SSI and the course is in great condition and the greens are very nice. Staff is always friendly,
BTW, get a hot dog at the turn, best hot dogs ever!!!!

Why would a golf course want U on there
grounds in that weather client say no , course
says get refund from golf now. Not interested
in chasing, be realistic or even compassionate

Hidden Gem Near St. Simons Island

I have visited St. Simons Island area many times, but first played Heritage Oaks this year.
Our group was really impressed with the course and the price/round. The greens were spectacular, and likely the overall layout of the course.
The location is considered Brunswick, GA, but on the outskirts in a development west of I-95 by a couple miles.
We liked the course so much; we cancelled another tee time to play Heritage Oaks a 2nd time during our week stay in the area.
