Cheap to play and very spaced out course.
Loved the openness of the course and it felt very smooth paced.
Best value in Atlanta
Good course. Friendly staff. For what you pay in green fees, this is the best value in Atlanta. New “clubhouse” is great, and excited for hole 11 to reopen. Great course to practice your irons and par 3s.
Great course if you pressed for time.
Course was in good condition only disappointment was the closed hole at 14.
Fun Place to Work on Your Game
It had been a while since I last played Legacy, so I didn't remember a lot about it. I will say, though, I was glad to be back after assessing the layout and the course condition, both of which were excellent. You know what you get when you to Legacy, a number of par 3's of varying distance with a handful of par 4's thrown in. You'll hit most, if not all of your clubs. Greens were excellent, very fast without many ball marks, owing to the fact that not many people hit them. I'll be back. One word of caution, though: don't try to turn left out of the course on to Windy Hill. That's far scarier than any shot you'll try on the course.
It'll be nice when it's done
Numberr 11 is still closed for resculpting. Pot holes near cart paths are being filled and sodded. When it all greens up and the divots in the tee boxes are gone, it will be much better than last year. The greens are great and I've aleays thought this is the best place in town to work on the short game, so keep up the good work, like smooth out some of the path maybe?
#11 being fixed
The club house is now open which is an upgrade and a testament to how they are trying to improve the course experience..... hole 11 was not playable as they are trying to fix what was the hole in constantly the worst shape which shows they are trying to continue to improve! Just don't expect to play all 18 lol several other hole were showing wear from the tee box to the greens
So fun! Great value!!
First time playing at Legacy and had such a great time! Pace of play was perfect, especially during to relatively short & easy holes. There was one hole on the back half under construction however it did not bother us at all. Definitely plan on going back soon.
Not Enough Bang for Your Buck
This a fine executive course when fully up to speed. However, they are currently doing maintenance on hole 11 and it’s completely shut down. Disappointed to say that the price did not reflect these conditions and there was no notification either. Also, the pace of place was horrendous. I have had better days at this course sadly it disappointed this go around.
Great value
Fun, relaxed exec course. Great price. Tee boxes a bit chunky but other than that the course is in pretty decent condition. Will play again.
I accidentally clicked on the wrong course.
I writing and posting this minutes after I reserved, realized what I did, and cancelled my tee time. I’m hoping someone can help me as I’m looking to get a refund. I understand the policy and feel that I should still be able to qualify for the refund. I cancelled the day before the tee time. Which allows the club to fill that time. I paid for my other tee time at the course I was originally thinking I was paying for. Also, if whomever sees this and has the ability to help me, please take the points I received from the tee time I canceled as I don’t wish to feel like getting extra points when I’m not playing at 2 courses. Thank you in advance!
Fun Day
Love the Par 3’s it’s a great way to practice on distance control as well as driver distance.
Smiling ball-eater
Par 58 short course (2000-2900 yds) well suited for target practice golf. Rewards good shots and gobbles up errant balls. Fun to play and insistent upon accuracy. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Greens tend to be elongated and often contoured. Usually bunker-protected. Currently re-seeding many of the tee boxes. Grass in rough is cut rather high, again opportunity for lost balls. Fairways well tended, except for 11 and 12 which have as much bare earth as grass. One issue-some issues with GPS app (GolfPad) on 11 and 12 where course abuts military facility.

Loved all the Par 3’s. Thus course is excellent for beginners like us. Gives you a chance to learn more without being intimidated . Totally recommend it for a beginner or intermediate level players
