The Den at Fox Creek Golf Course

Fun course to play. . Greens are usually in decent shape and tee boxes/fairways are always well maintained. Give you a lot of room off the tee on most holes but does feature some blind tee shots. The layout could be significantly more challenging if they would let it firm up a bit and play more to it's links style.

The Den at Fox Creek is a great course for the money. I try to play several times a year and always enjoy my rounds. The course conditions are usually the best in the area.

This is a great, unique course here in central Illinois. Most fairways are wide and greens are large, but requires strategy to find the right angles. Fairways are rolling with barely any level spots. Water comes into play on probably half the holes. Can be very tough but also fun to play due to variety of holes. Condition was very good - sometimes in mid-summer it can get hot and somewhat dry.

with weather conditions we have had this summer we didn"t know what to expect. course was in great shape with very well kept fairways, bunkers and greens! greens very hard to read and extremely challenging.

Great layout. Course in good condition. Bunkers could use some attention as I was in them quite often, fun course that needs to be played. Will be back.

Love being able to play the Den with GolfNow. The hot deals are a great value. The course was little wet, so the greens and fairways were beat up more than you would like. Greens were full of marks and goose poo. That being said, it's a great course and very challenging. If you're not a very good golfer, be sure to bring a few extra sleeves.

We booked this on GolfNow as we were in Bloomington for The Youth Classic. Everything was great. This is definitely a shot makers course. Challenging but fun.

The Den at Fox Creek is a nice course for pretty much every level of player. Wide fairways help in your decisions to "rip it" on most holes. Greens are large and extremely fast and can cause lots of 3 putts if not gifted with soft hands. Course conditions are always very good and the layout and holes have lots of variety, never giving the same look twice. Par 3's are diverse and interesting, with 2 of the 4 requiring spot on ball striking. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Driving range and putting greens make for nice warmup and preparation before starting your round.

Always a pleasure to play at the Den. The course is very well maintained and offer so very good challenge to all level of players.

Very nice golf course, I will play this golf course again. Many high school kids were practicing when I went play there, but the staff were there at about 4:00 PM fixing the divots, and it shows that the golf course fairways and greens are well maintained. The pro shop staff were nice and friendly as well explaining what was going on that day.

There are a few water hazards, so bring extra balls...

This is one of my favorite courses in Bloomington-Normal to play. I was able to play the same day as their hardest pin tournament, and it was one of my favorite rounds of golf so far. We paid $18 for green fees and a cart, the course was playing fantastic. When we got to the first green we got to truly see how insane the pin locations where, but it made it that much better. By far, it is a fantastic value for your dollar, and the course is very well maintained!

Perfect weather for golfing. Got a great price for the day. Course was not in it's usual great condition. Sand traps were full of water, and the ones that weren't have far too much sand in them. You need a tractor to dig yourself out of those pits. Greens had been aerated and this made for lots of puts bouncing and getting off line when putting. The greens are normally very fast and smooth, but not this day. The course is very fun to play and challenges you to hit your shots in the right places, or pay a price. Even though this day was not the best conditions I've played on this course, I still recommend playing here, as most courses still don't offer the variety and conditions that are normally found here.

This course is her challenging. Both times we played the course the pace was excellent. The carts have GOs and pace time indicators.

Have played in the past, but for some reason none of the tee boxes were labeled. carts have gps which is great, sand is well kept, and everywhere, greens were dry and fast. made for a difficult round that should have played much easier. Great course for the price I paid.
