About
Klein Creek Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling prairieland in the western suburbs of Chicago. Trees frame the layout's gentle doglegs and tall prairie grasses border the fairways. It is a golf course that offers both beautiful scenery and a challenging round. Several lakes also dot the landscape, coming into play on almost every hole. The abundant water hazards are often coupled with spacious, intricately designed bunkers that are also usually paired with wood retaining walls. Contoured mounding frames the fairways and greens as well. Klein Creek Golf Club's layout is not easy by any means but it's fair, offering room for error on even the tougher holes with wide fairways and generous landing areas. There are a variety of approach options for the greens as well, providing great risk-reward opportunities.

Challenging track, excellent greens
This course requires precision and good target golf. Greens are firm and fast for early season. Lots of water throughout course. Tough but fair. A lot of fun to play.
Much improved except for 5somes
I stopped playing here about 6 years ago because they let the place go to crap. Recently read some reviews about how it is now being maintained and all the bunkers were redone. Happy to see that is true. Nice layout with plenty of challenge. Only concern was they appear to allow 5somes. We caught up to them on 15 and the last three holes took about an hour.
Course in better shape than it was 2 years ago. They paved all the cart paths, so it is not quite as muddy. The fairways were cut well, and greens in good shape.
Good track, better amenities
Great food & service in clubhouse and outdoor bar/restaurant. Highly recommend the grouper sandwich. Course is challenging but fair. Pace of play is slow. Greens were fast and true. Tee boxes were in brutal condition - but that could be because of time of season.
Chalk it up to a bad day
They had an outing right before us so this was almost a 5 hour and 35 minute round.
Great Sunday Afternoon Round
First time out at Klein Creek this year, and it was a great experience. The course layout is challenging, but it was in great shape. The outside bar was handy before starting and during the turn. Given the many options available in the area, would certainly recommend Klein Creek to anyone.
