Reviews
Fantastic Course
I live in Dallas and was asked to coordinate a round of golf with a client in Bloomington. I saw this course online and thought I’d give it a try. It was wonderful. The course was in perfect shape. The greens and fairways were also great. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely play here again.
Challenging Course
Our first time at this course near Bloomington and Lake Monroe. Pro shop gentleman gave us a brief introduction to the course, and we watched hole by hole videos on course website. This is Hoosier hill country and it was nicely incorporated into the course. The hills resulted in a quite a few blind shots, so knowledge of the course is a definite advantage. Fairways are tree lined on many holes making accuracy a premium. Restaurant was quick with a burger at the turn. Greens nice except for unrepaired ball marks. Some rain would definitely help the course. Overall a nice course we would play again when in the area.
Worth the time and price
The course was in great shape. Greens were true. I will be playing again.
Best Around!
I play this course at least once a year just to see how it's coming along since the new onwership took it over out of bankruptcy. The course was dead pre-covid. Now it is in the best shape I've ever seen it and is the best in the area with no course even a close 2nd. From Tee to Green it's fantastic! Great work to the staff! Price was mid-afternoon weekday which is perfect! Will be back!
Course is in spectacular shape
Wow. Course is in such great shape compared to others that have suffered due to dry spells and poor management. Greens are near perfect, fairways are well cared for, and the rough, while brown in spots, is cut, consistent and fair. Bunkers need work, but that is now commonplace across the state. This course is perhaps in best shape over last 30 years. Well done and so happy to play a course that is green and cared for.
Fun course
Unfortunately all the water features not working as winter. All the bunkers were out of play, not looked after no rakes etc I’m guessing as winter. Sine animal foot prints on greens and a lot of animal pop so must be a challenge for club. Staff very friendly. As a cold day very few playing. Really enjoyed our day would recommend would love to see it in summer.
Amazing Experience for the $$$
Outstanding conditions with a tough but fair layout. Beautiful greens and fairways topped off with a great staff.
