Good course at a good price
Slow start due to multiple par 3s to start , decent condition
Boggy boy
Early spring so wet and car path only. Pace was good and course was cleared of all debris. Worth the dollars at this time of the year.
Great little course
It's still only mid march, but the course was in really good condition. The greens were rolling better than expected for sure, and there is alot of improvement in and around the bunker system. This course is best bang for yiur buck in this area. Not a long course, but it is tight and you have to choose the right clu off the tee on the par 4's to give yourself the best chance at birdie. If you haven't been here in awhile you should come back and play here again. It can get busy, so book yiur spot in advance as far ahead as possible.
Unique Par 65 course. Fun to play
Nothing like this course in the Midwest that I know of. Par 65 with 7 par 3's and only one par 5! Even in winter they keep the greens in great shape. The practice facility is super.
Don't get carried away, the fairways are tight. Be careful on Holes 7 and 15. The creek that runs across the fairway is not visible until you get really close. Great course to play
OK Course Layout
Well-kept course, but there are too many par 3’s. You end a round of 18 with 3 par-3’s in a row. It’s only a par 65, so it’s short. Price for the round was reasonable and carts are in OK condition.
Good for beginners
** Pace of play is horrible: No starter or ranger present. 4-some, 1-player, 4-some, 2-some... Several groups jumping around in the course. We followed three different groups, one of which we never saw before until holes 17 & 18.... The first 3 holes took about 50 mins to play being a par 4 and two par 3's.... ** Skill levels: Unfortunately many newer low-skill players on the course. "Four" is yelled often or not at all as a golf ball lands about 6-12ft from you. ** Greens are very hard and challenging. ** My favorite was waiting for golfers to hit off our fairway while on the t-box...
Greens recently aerated. Putting was a little unpredictable on some holes.
