staff
the owner was not friendly at all kicked us off the course because there golf cart was on its last leg and brakes made a werid noise when we got the cart the owner drove up to us to complain about us making the brakes make a weird noise the green had a whole in it when we got to the whole then blamed it on us and when we were leaving we asked for a refund and he just laughed at us he charged 5 of us for a cart and we only got to use 3 overall if you are there to have a fun time and you’re younger do not go to this course
Typical country course...
Played the course with my son for the first time in years, and was not impressed. The fairways were good; the greens were receptive but slow-- the greens are much smaller than they used to be, about 2/3 their original size (no doubt for maint issues-but that's what helped make the course interesting before). There's no sand, where there's many places a sand trap here or there would be nice (again maint issue no doubt). The rough is overgrown and full of weeds and dandelions (maint again!). Dead or dying trees all over the course.
Just wasn't impressed especially for the $$. There are many many other courses in the area better maintained and designed for less or equal money.
Owners need to reinvest in the course to get it back to what it once was....course begs for some TLC.
Great course.
Very nice course, several water holes that took a handful of my balls, course was in good shape, could have used a little more water on the fairways, but it's been a dry summer and a lot of local courses have the same issue. Great course, would highly recommend.
very scenic
This was my first time using the golf now app. It was simple and quick and saved me half the cost! The staff at Geneva was ready and prepared when I arrived, They even let me start early to help avoid an approaching weather front. Very good experience!
Geneva Hills
Played in the afternoon after a morning shower. Course was in excellent shape. The greens were soft and held the ball perfectly. The fairways were almost perfect. There was only one fairway that had a rather large dug up area, but it didn't interfere with my game.
Don't go!
The grass had been let go leaving grass clumps everywhere. The cart was on its last leg. It would make a 5sec squeal before moving. The low quality of the course did not match the high price. We reported uncourteous golfers to the staff. While we were waiting on slower golfers the group behind us bit balls at us on 2 occasions and didn't even bother to yell fore. The staff acted as like it was our fault. There are way better courses in the area for less money. I will never play the course again and I would recommend you save your money as well. It is a large course and they should hire more staff to maintain it. I have been playing diffrent courses in the area all summer this was by far my biggest disappointment.
Fun to play
Pleasantly surprised at the condition and the level of difficulty of the course.
Only snacks and drinks available.
You get what you pay for.
I have played this course multiple times and I would consider it a middle of the road course. The greens are in fantastic shape but the tee boxes and fairways are in need of TLC. Overall the course plays pretty easy but does require some shot making at certain holes. We played this course for $20.00 and a cart and I would consider that a very nice deal for this course. This course is rarely busy and that allows for quick play as well. Something that I tend to pay a lot of attention to. If your looking for a quick 18 at a decently maintained course I say give it a go. If your looking for a pristine course with lush Fairways and boxes you will be disappointed.
