Thunderbolt Pass Golf Club

I booked a tee time and arrived to find they were closed. They are apparently in transition but have tee times on this app.

Course was closed Friday, 12/27/2024. Got there and couldn’t play. No one there.

Hardly any leaves on the course. I’m 86 and playing from the reds. Reds have far too much advantage. Golds about the same and white tees are too much for me. Cart pats have always been an issue. Many bare spots next to the tees. Greens are in pretty decent condition. There’s no directional signs around the greens so (everyone) drives carts up to the greens. We were playing behind a 5some. 4 ladies and the man who asked us to keep the carts on the cart path at a tee. Later on on the ninth hole he drove his cart along with a rider to about 5 steps from the green. They only held us up for 2 holes as they quit after 9. It appears the staff keeps their “stuff” on the only 2 patio tables so we had our beer inside. The course is reasonably playable and it is rather enjoyable for a change. We usually play the men’s club at Cambridge and I make 3 tee times at Fendrich Mondays.

Staff was great, great weather, we played in 3 hours and 15 minutes! Greens are in great shale!

Cart paths are terrible. Overall conditions are better than in the past. They are working to improve the course.

Overall course was in poor condition ton of weeds and and some greens were in great shape and other very poor.

The course is especially easy from the senior tees. As a recovering cancer patient it’s just what the doctor ordered! It’s just what I need to get back into the swing of things🏌🏽😊.

Course is improving, well manicured, bunkers worked! Staff was helpful and accomadating.

Course was well worth the money. The greens are good and tee boxes decent. The fairways aren’t great and it’s soggy on the outliers of a few holes but it’s good for the price and availability.

Just played the front 9. Course is in great shape! Hole 10 and 18 are closed after newly planted grass. It will be worth the wait! Always talk to Steve and Wendy! Very good hosts!Steve was off but Wendy was there.

In town for a few days for business. Not a good experience for my business partners and myself. It began at check-in. Not what I would call “customer friendly.” Grabbed a few beers, and once again, not what I would call friendly. We enjoyed our game, but highly doubt we will return. The prices were great, but I’d prefer to pay double and receive good customer service, which this place had none. We were looking for a course to play at and to take our clients to when in town. We will need to mark this one off our list.

The course is getting better all the time. The greens have always been good and now they’re working on the fairways by striping in Bermuda grass on #s 10 and 18.🤔😊👍.

10 and 18 are roped off. They are stripped for new z a Bermuda. Just doubled up on hole 7 and 2. Staff was on top of it.

All fairways in great condition except 10. Has a little browning in the center. Lack of rain for very middle of fairway. Still very playable. Staff very friendly and accommodating . Monday was crowded on the for the first nine, then thinned out considerably. $ very reasonable!
