Rude staff and a subpar course
Staff is extremely rude and treats you poorly. Took me multiple times to even get out to play. I tried calling - but they don’t take tee times for single people (because apparently they dislike money). They told me i can show up and they’ll try to get me out. So, I didn’t go that day. Went another day and the employee told me they couldn’t let me out today before I even walked in the door. It sounds like this place is run like crap and I will never go again. Waste of space on the south side of Fort Wayne.
Course has lost all it's fairways.
Not sure if I have ever played a course in which all 14 fairways were unplayable.It was hard to tell what was fairways.Most just had blotchy spots where if ball hit one it would bounce any which way.You needed to play ball in hand to stick on top of a patch.Others they were trying to grow grass but it ended looking like patchy rough.I was really embarrassed I brought 3 colleagues here to play.Course should shut down for awhile to figure it out.Greens were fine.Layout wasn't bad.
Nice course
Donald Ross course is challenging if you do not hit the ball straight. If you do hit it straight you still might find a couple of the greens to be a challenge. Overall a very nice and fun track to play.
Good course. Stay straight, lots of trees. Not much water. GPS. Good value
Not the prettiest course but good overall experience. Golfers need to keep up pace and fix divots. Carts have basic but informative GPS. Small clubhouse but has everything u need. Good food options to be small. Some elevated greens and trees make it a bit challenging.
