Better golf options in Iowa City
So first and foremost they don't take credit cards. You have to pull money out of ATM there. Which is $2.50 charge plus your bank fees. So add that to the green fees. Guy in clubhouse seemed to be bothered that I wanted to play. Like he had better things to do. Course is really basic and wasn't worth the hassle. It's a shame cause it has potential. My recommendation is find somewhere else near by to play
A decent 9
I plYed this on a business trip. There were a bunch of old guys and a lot of singles. Course was OK, but it was not in as good a shape as it should have been. Fairways were mowed, but tooany bare spots. Some of the greens were kind of rough. They did roll fast and the course did have some fun holes. On #1 if you try to lay up just in front of the creek, it's going to roll in. No inexpensive.
