PACE: Played as a single in the afternoon, and I'm not sure I ever saw anyone else on the course.
CONDITIONS: Good. Greens, tees and fairways were good. Bunkers are okay.
STAFF: Very friendly and helpful. Got me paid up and out to the first tee.
VALUE: It is a good value... however, it is a drive to get out to this course. Those that live/visit around the Lake Panorama area are very lucky to have this course. Not sure I would recommend doing the drive to get there just to play the course though.
LAYOUT: This course is walkable. Plays through some lightly rolling topography. A few blind tee shots; some fun short par 4s (8 and 9 are interesting); several challenging, but fun, shots to be had.

Course was in good great condition and staff was very friendly. Good in the bar was good as well.

Great layout at Panarama. The course is in great condition except for a few tee boxes.

The only concerns are: Lack of a ranger on the course made play EXTEMELY slow and forward tees play at over 5300 yards. Another set of tees for senior women in the 4800 to 5000 range would make the course much more fun for them! That being said, the course is super fun! Great layout! Challenging, but fair for an intermediate male golfer.

Just alright ... SLOW
I suppose the layout here is decent and it was in OK shape, but the pace of play was very slow. The course was not even super busy, but it seemed like there were a lot of people who were taking their time and not aware of needing to let people play through.
All of the playing surfaces were decent - tees, fairways and greens - but the holes were a bit boring overall. On the back 9 it gets a bit more interesting.
I felt like the price was a bit high for what this course offers. I wouldn't tell you not to play but I found myself wishing I'd played elsewhere.
Great Course
The reason I gave this course a 4-star was mainly due to the pace of play of the course. While the course has its challenges, it took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to play a round of golf for a twosome. This is because the course did allow a five some to play even though you can only book up to a foursome. I do not know if this is the courses fault, but maintaining what it states on their website, it seemed that they would be a little more strict on their course rules. Overall, the course was in fantastic conditions even though the trees seemed a little claustrophobic on certain holes, but a fun round and definitely be returning soon.
Really beautiful course
I’m new to golfing myself but I’ve played at a couple different courses and by far this was my favorite course played on! It’s just a beautiful spot and some challenging holes but not too challenging. Definitely gotta drive back to Iowa to play this course again!
Challenging
Difficult course for the first time playing. Hard to know landing spot distances when you haven't played course before. Uneven lies are common and no straight putts. Snack shop at the turn is right on the cart path so really convenient to get in and out.

Can’t stop myself from going there now. 14$ for 18 holes 100% worth the hour drive.
