Terrific Muni
Did not k ow what to expect based on previous reviews and being a muni in the off-season!! Pro shop was very helpful in getting me going right away after frost delay.
Course held the old USGA Pub-Links Championship. The course is within a larger park and there are limited homes around the perimeter. The airport along the 17th hole is interesting and several Cessnas landed while I was playing. Course has a nice mix of hilly holes and flatter holes.
One of the better courses in Louisville public munis.

I have played Seneca golf course for 40 years. I have lived in Orlando Florida for the past 15 years BUT, when I travel to Louisville,KY., which I do at lease 3 times a year. I always try to play Seneca at least once during my stays. Anyone can enjoy the course from any tee box.
The new Seneca
been a long time since I played here, the changes they have made are for the good of the course, moved some holes since last time. Fairways were in good shape, some spotty but considering how most are in this area due to the past weather they were ok, the rough is high so takes a while to find a ball hit or rolls in there...greens were in good shape and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would not walk as it is long and uphill and downhill though
