Great Track!
Don't let the parking lot and clubhouse fool you. This is a course with public facilities and private course. I've played it during the summer and they keep it watered and green. Topeka is fortunate to have a public course this nice and lush. I would definitely play it again. For some reason I always enjoy the front nine on this course more than the back. I'm a member of a private club and go to Cypress for change of scene.

Well taken care of course. Rude staff.
I really like this course. It is clean and very well manicured. With that being said, the guy working the pro shop acted like he owns the world. Slow pace of play on a Tuesday night. Waiting on several groups in front of you.
Terrible marshals
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon the marshal allowed a 6some to hold up the whole day
Great value muni
Was in the Topeka area and needed a place to play one afternoon and gave this place a shot... and was pleasantly surprised! Turf was in great shape. A little short from the back tees at 6,100 yards so maybe not the most enjoyable track for a single digit handicap, but I can't complain for the price. $20 to walk in the afternoon was a great deal, and we played in just over 3 hours.
Beautiful Course
The course was in great shape and is beautiful. The new cart paths are a great improvement.
Average @ Best
Just an average course for an average golfer like myself, I don't think I would go out of my way just to play here again. Staff was nice, pace was good, not the best of condition - fairways and greens.
Unhappy
I made friends with the lady director as i play this course a lot. To my surprise when me and my friend went to play the last time i was there she said she knew i was there a week ago and tried to hide from me and my friend. I have been nothing but polite to her and the staff but it seems for some reason that they dont feel the same way. I am really sorry i drove so far to play at this location just to have my feelings hurt by the staff. Not sure what i could have done to shown them and her anymore kindness than i have and to get treated with that kind of comment was uncalled for.
Good course
Course was in good shape with a great layout. Greens were in great shape and fairways pretty lush and great to hit off of. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Good challenging course and in good condition. Friendly staff.

I have played this course before and was maintained quite well , today the fairways had been aerated making iron shots more challenging.
This is a good course so don't let this scare you away
