Nice course for tuning up your game
Played this course in late afternoon on a weekday. Unfortunately I got stuck behind a high school or college golf team. They were all walkers and I thought the day would be miserable and take forever to finish the round. After only getting four holes in a Ranger came out and advised me to reposition myself to the other nine. I did so and moved through the course quite quickly
The course was in pretty decent shape considering the rain received earlier in the week
I rode the fairways all around
The greens were in a 8 out of a 10 in conditions as were most tee boxes
As another person stated in their review it’s hard to lose a ball out there
I played from the tips to challenge myself and it’s not super long from them but you can hit driver in most par 4 and 5 s
This course is in hyper alert in regards to the virus and they are all over on the cleaning and sanitizing
The staff are outstanding and great conversationalists! They made “this out of towner “feel like a local
Well stocked pro shop as well
Downside. No driving range
Ok course
Over priced. Tee boxes were dyed out and spotty with weeds and grass. Greens were very slow. Mostly a back and forth course, up and down hilly. Would not play again or recommend to friends at the current price.
A great municipal course
Juniper Hills is in the middle of Frankfort with a challenging layout and tricky greens. It is heavily used by local golf teams and the community as a whole for tournaments. They know how to water and use fertilizer so the course stays in great shape most of the time.
Lost balls won't be a problem, but lost strokes might be. Great for all handicappers.
