Hidden Gem
Very surprised there are no other reviews. I did not know anything going into this round and was very surprised with what I found. Laurel Oaks sits on some great rolling to hilly land, has several unique holes and several very good risk reward holes. Course conditions are very sporty, but greens were in good shape. Prepare yourself for a very firm course which was different and a lot of fun.
Many of the holes would be signature or features holes on other courses, but the highlights are: loved the risk reward first, love the rumbling terrain on the par five second with a very unique green location, elevated approach to 6th green was a cool shot, 7th and 8th are elevated tee shots over water, uphill 9th is a fun hole, tee shots on 10 and 11 are elevated and require correct location off tee to attack green, hole 14 is a solid par 5 with a good peninsula green.
If you can overlook the conditions, one will find a very affordable, hidden gem in northern Kentucky!
